Does anyone know what happened to John?

On the forum entitled Transhumanism, Breezy started lampooning quite a bit, making more irrational comments than normal. He started morphing his arguments quite severely, making nonsensical remarks and allegations, only to become serious considerably later on the forum. He's also changed his name to "...", and removed his photo. I don't know about you guys, but I'm a bit worried. This seems like a move to tarnish credibility as an exit strategy. Possibly make himself seem like a harmless internet troll to make his exit of the site more forgettable. What do you guys think? Because my hypothesis could be completely false, as I can only speculate without verification. If anybody knows, please explain, if possible.

I assume you read the part

I assume you read the part the transhumanism thread (Yes, it is very long now,) where he requested to have his account deleted. Which someone with the authority to do this, did this for him. (Apparently you cannot delete your own profile.) Threads cannot be deleted by members either. (Although I think you can go through and edit your own post, you just cannot delete them.)

I imagine these rules are in place to prevent abuses.

I predict we will see John Breezy back at some point under a new name, sooner or later, we may be aware it is him or may not.

He definitely seemed to go off the rails and get unhinged 2-3 nights back.

John's flirtation with

John's flirtation with respect was inconsistent as he would make sense sometimes and then sometimes he wouldn't. I think he got frustrated and said fuck it.

John did not seem himself. He

John did not seem himself. He wrote in a different voice. Almost like someone hijacked his laptop.

Yes.. It was quite strange. I had similar thoughts myself.

I'm a little more concerned

I'm a little more concerned about Truett. Anyone heard from him?

I noticed his absence. He

I noticed his absence. He could very well be on vacation. However, with his lack of notice for leaving coupled with his general personality, I find it more likely that he had something come up of more dire urgency. I suppose we may well find out soon enough.

I was just thinking the same thing. I like that guy.

John's presence was doomed

John's presence was doomed from the beginning. All theists ultimately suffer on these various atheist sites and many resolve themselves to some final act of defiance, leave and either remain absent or re-invent themselves at some later time. John, as a personality here, was engaging and despite the burden of a passionate and weighted atheism on him he conducted himself well. I did not read the thread noted here pointing to his change in conduct so I can't comment directly on it. This place can be tough on an apologist and the passion on both sides of the argument does feed upon itself.

Perhaps John and Truett are taking some time away to arrange their sock drawers. It's a normal respite and should be expected.
