I am trying to to find more information about the First Council of Nicaea. I experienced some dificulty in finding information sources untainted by Christian lies and disinformation.
Any suggestions?

What did you want to know? Anything specific or did you just want the general conclusions?
I am wanting to understand how the bible was constructed and I understand that the First Council heavily influenced the process and went some way in producing a version that was acceptable to the disparate interests across the eastern Roman Empire and beyond.
Bart Eherman, YouTube video, "How Jesus Became God." "Bart Ehrman on the Origins of the Trinity" "In 325 AD, Council of Nicaea debated and voted on divinity of Jesus - Bart Ehrman"
Bart can be a bit flaky when it comes to defending the existence of Jesus; however, he is a legitimate Biblical historian and he really tries to stick to the facts.
Thank you.
I agree with your comment about Ehrman.. In one of Sam Harris's podcasts he carefully set out the arguments against the existence of Jesus and then leapt to opposite conclusion!
Look it up in Wikipedia, there is an extensive bibliography given. Many of which I have in my library.
First Council of Nicaea
Second Council of Nicaea
As Old Man said, be sure to use the sections of “See also,” “Notes,” “References,” “Further reading,” “Bibliography,” and/or “External links.”
