Physics!

Lately I've been looking into getting some classes in regarding math and physics just because I'm really curious and interested in what all of those fancy formulas and equations mean and how this world works.

My question is, can physics point to evidence of disproving the existence of a creator? Im not taking these classes for that reason, I'm just curious if physics is ever used for evidence in religious debates.

Proof, no way. But seeing how

Proof, no way. But seeing how the world works is a good reason to study it.

If you live in the US you can take most of the math classes you need at community college; or you can find them online for free if you're the kind of person who can learn that way. If you need to help figuring out what classes to take, let me know.

Yes: A creator can be

Yes: A creator can be disproved by simply applying logic. Imagine that we are in a forest and we come across a cave. You turn to me and tell me that you believe a bear lives in the cave. Okay, it's possible but we do not know for sure. What should we do?

We do an experiment. We sit and watch the cave for a full year and we never see a bear come in or go out of the cave. We are pretty sure that there isn't a bear in the cave, but, we do not want to be attacked if we enter the cave so we sprinkle flour on the ground outside the cave and hang bells and whistles all over the entrance. The bear, even if it is invisible, will leave tracks or make some noise if it enters or exists.

We wait another year and nothing happens. By this time, we are fairly certain that there isn't a bear in the cave. We toss balls in the cave. We throw meat tied to a rope in the cave and nothing ever happens. Finally we are confident enough to venture into the cave.

Physics can eliminate any physical claims made by the religious. Already we know that prayer works at the same rate as chance unless the person being prayed for knows they are being prayed for. When they know they are being prayed for, they do significantly worse than chance. This was a pew research study.

So physics can disprove god every time religion makes a claim that is clearly in the realm of physics. "Something can not come from nothing." for example.

We have no idea at all as to whether or not there is anything at all called nothing. No one has ever seen it or experienced it. What we do know is that our physics breaks down at Plank Time. The spot in the origin of the universe where expansion begins. The "Big Bang," is not a theory of origins but a theory of expansion. There is no point in the "Big Bang" where nothing exists. All the Big Bang asserts is that "Stuff" began to "Expand." This is physics at it's best!

Physics can not falsify the

Physics can not falsify the unfalsifiable. Physics can explain current and historical phenomena in the universe which just so happen to contradict religious explanations of the same phenomena.

Thanks for the help and

Thanks for the help and clarification guys, much appreciated. After looking at some youtube videos and stuff I would say it's right up my alley :) I'll sign up for them next semester

I have always thought that

I have always thought that both uneducated and educated people have been distinguished for genius and learning and physic abilities.

Many are great at philosophies and metaphysics remarkably interesting and successful.
The influence of all, it is almost boundless. I myself seek to be ardent, eloquent, and enthusiastic.
