I figured out how to do instant messaging on Facebook and this woman from Nigeria messaged me. I know nothing about Nigeria, so I googled a little.
She mentioned Causca ,so after looking it up it has to do with immigrants rights. I told her I wish USA had open borders for immigration. Her response was "If us had open borders would you want to come to Nigeria?" I asked her if she was safe in her country.
" Yes save me from Donald trump! lol. "
US tourism is down 16% since trump took office. Other countries have increased in their tourism. People don't want to come to America right now. Sad.

We hear all kinds of horror stories about mistreatment of visitors at US airports.
I haven't been to the US since the 90s. My impression even then was that airport customs officers and security staff are not chosen for their friendly attitudes or high IQs. We encountered endless queues, surly attitudes, rudeness, and a brainless authoritarianism. And for all that, they still managed to let a bunch of hijackers armed with box cutters onto planes. Our last trip to L.A. involved 3 hours of horror in the customs hall. And then we experienced an 11-hour flight from LA to Vegas on Delta, which tried to load us onto a plane with no engines (but that's another story).
I don't suppose US airports have improved with age, especially under the present administration. It's a shame, because America's a wonderful place. Earlier this year we were planning to go to a conference in Columbus Ohio, followed by a tour of DC and NY, but we cancelled after hearing about all the border control problems.
Everywhere I've been in America I've encountered kind and friendly people (well apart from one road-rage nut in Hawaii). It's a shame your airports are staffed by a bunch of cave trolls.
I assume you already knew this but the 9/11 hijackings was for flights within the US, which had almost no security, just a basic low sensitivity metal detector people walked rapidly through. Flights within the US security was pleasant until 9/11
Security sucks now, unless you are rich then you can bypass it.

I chatted with an 25 year ex Muslim man on twitter today. He lives in an Islamic state and has been an atheist for 6 plus years. If he were to tell his father he was atheist he said he'd for sure disown him if not kill him. His whole family comunity muslim and he did blasphemy of Muhammad is punishable by death. Hmm. I thought my family was rough. I just want to say FUCK MUHAMMAD for my atheist friend in the Middle East.

I have read this OP maybe 20 times. It took me awhile to get my head around it.
While I truly believe that the rest of the world is scared of the nutcase Trump, and as a nation, we should be embarrassed. I also know that Nigerians with access to the internet are more likely than not, to be in a criminal enterprise, usually against their will.
JamieB. I would be cautious with contacting this Nigerian person under ANY circumstance. She is not working on her own or even voluntarily.
