Harry Truman, I'll step out on a limb and congratulate you for finding your way out of the god delusion. It is no small feat to emerge from the indoctrination of youth and the deception of religion. I'll walk even farther on this branch to congratulate you on listening to and considering Mykcroft4's arguments. His clarity of thought, direct expression of logic and impatience with logical fallacy and deceipt make for persuasive challenges for theists.
There is some doubt as to the earnestness of your claim of Atheism. I hope your comments are heartfelt and true. Happiness, truth, beauty and wisdom wait for those who recognize the wonder of nature and ground themselves in reality. I dearly hope that you've escaped the bronze age nonsense of religion. I'd like to apologize for expressing skepticism at your statement that you were now an atheist Harry Truman. But I hope you don't hold it against me, I mean you did announce it on April Fools day; so hopefully you can understand why I was skeptical. :}

One man joins a forum as the opposition and gets ridiculed into becoming a comrade? Is it really that easy? Yo, Myckob, ever think of bottling and branding that elixir?
Anyone here care enough about atheism to peddle it on theist forums? I can't be bothered enough to go to one much less see where the secular soldiers are doing battle.
I visit theist boards, but I will admit my motives are not all altruistic when I visit them. The accounts I create there seem to get banned no matter how civil or disruptive I am, at the same rate. Fortunately you can just create another one. I do tunnel/proxy them however.
Their responses get old pretty quick however, same base arguments over and over. Always in the end, if they stay the course of the debate with me, boils down to "faith" for them. I have been told I was some sort of variation of "possessed by the devil" a comical amount of times :)
I actually as of 2 weeks ago spend most of my down time at work/home here. But if things get quiet here I head back over there, always get a lot of responses real quick. But the constant bible quotes get on my nerves after a while.
