Zombie Survival Guide - Max Brooks. Follow that book to the letter.
LOL i love how imaginative that guy was with his book. He pretty much covers everything there is to know about zombies.
The zombie survival guide is an excellent book and definitely a must read for any fan of Zombies in general. Max Brooks shows you detailed information on how to survive a zombie apocalypse, and he actually uses logical things that most movies tend to forget. Like the fact that zombies are putrefact and they smell horrible, so much that being close to one would be nauseating to most people.
Also the mention of how their moaning could become unbereable for your mental health if you are trapped in a place that is sorrounded by hundreds of zombies. It really tries to be realistic if the possibility ever came of a situation like that, and it even has a short log of "zombie" attacks reported all over the world.
Now with crazy drugs like Bathsalts and people literaly turning into cannibalistic raging zombies, this is starting to seem pretty real to a certain level.
I would just smoke a few blunts and wait for the zombies to crash through my door and then give them the fight of their undead lives!

LOL joe, i guess it would not be harmful to toke a bit before doing some zombie slaying.
I never read the zombie survival guide but it sounds like a very interesting book for sure. I will look for it in amazon an buy it. Seems like a great one.
I own two copies, great reading while on the throne!
They should make a movie that is more accurately based on the zombie survival guide. It would be even more accurate than the walking dead.
Another good book by Max Brooks is World War Z. They are making a movie out of it.
Watched World War Z it was not that great and though I never read the book I pretty much knew how it was going to go base on clues given in the first few minutes of the movie. I noticed differences in the way zombies form different areas acted, call it evolution of a quickly evolving virus or whatever but I think I liked the Russian ones most. It was either the Russian or the US zombies that were best. Overalll, I did not think it was that great for a zombie movie. I did like the police interaction in the food store though, kind of made me sad when the guy got baby food. I also think it portrays a more accurate depiction of how governments would handle such a crisis compared to what i have seen in some other movies. This is all I am willing to say about the movie so as not to spoil it for others.
I had forgotten about that movie. It's been in production for a while now, i wonder if it will ever get released.
I want to see a remake of the return of the living dead 1 and 2!
The return of the living dead 2 was probably the best one of that series of movies. But the first one was pretty damn good too.
My favorite zombie flick is Zombie 2. The fulci film
My all time favorite to date is Dawn of the Dead (2004), I like most everything about it, the fast zombies, the interaction, of living people the ways it showed hardship, the plan, the zombie bus they came up with, even the ending but most importantly the music! Great movie!
The problem with fast zombies is that they are just dead rabid people lol. Zombies should be slow.
nah, Zombieland for sure.
I just read the zombie survival guide and i must say it was an excellent little book. I mean, this guy goes the extra mile with detailed information on how you can survive a zombie infestation. He even describes stuff like how the zombies outside your location can be so loud if there are too many of them. Those kind of details make it so good.
Im not sure i would survive, it must be terrifying to be surrounded with people with no rational side and desire to eat you alive
The CDC has some excellent guides, but survival would largely be a matter of what kind of zombies occurred. My first option is to drive out to the cabin in the coastal hills and wait it out. I figure the fewer people in an area, the less likely any type of zombie invasion would be. Zombies will probably stay in the cities where the pickings are easy. Once the cities are cleaned out, it would be a long, hungry trip to the cabin.
I've played enough DayZ to survive a Zombie apocalypse.
Zombies huh....lol
Hey no mocking zombies, they are real!!! :P
I actually find the concept of zombies a lot more believable than most religious beliefs lol. I guess that it could be very probable that some sort of lab experiment that would turn people into crazy irrational monsters.
I am a zombie fan myself! Saw the original Night of the Living Dead when it first showed in late 60s. I really want to make a trip to the cemetery in the movie that is in Evans City, PA. There is even a zombie museum in town. I think that movie kicked off the zombie craze..They also have an annual zombie fest around Halloween that some of the actors that are still living go to.
This topic has been dead for 3 years, you're necroposting.
Wait, necroposting in a zombie topic? Does that mean that this topic has risen from the dead?
Just like Zombie Jesus!
Zombie Jesus the movie. The reckoning of the Lord.
