That is too silly to be taken seriously.
Who the hell is Howard Storm and why should he be taken as an authority on something for which there is zero evidence of? What qualifies as a NDE? I have been in several accidents and have never experienced such an event. What caused him to experience his? And how does he know that his experience really was a NDE?
If he had never publicized his alleged event would we know who he is? Maybe he's just a common liar making up a fanciful story in order to get his name in the news.
If NDEs were real wouldn't it be logical for billions of people to experience them?

Not everybody is interested in spirituality at this stage in their lives.

Easy Arak.
Humans are not satisfied with the finite objects and this is a reality.
Anyone who say the opposite is a liar.
Today you buy a new car after you save all that money by working hard.
Tomorrow you discover that a newer model just came out and guess what?
It is also cheaper than the one you just bought.
Don't you feel frustrated Arak?
That only show that physical object can not give permanent satisfaction.
And what about our relationship?
Today you fall in love with someone that you like.
Tomorrow you notice that someone else look better so you think........what a pity I didn't get that person in my life.
This also show that both material and physical things are no able to satisfy us in a permanent way.
This can go on and on for a life time or many life times but at the end everybody will come at the conclusion that only the infinity can put an end to this search and give us peace of mind and total bliss and spirituality is the answer.

Does anyone know of any old couples who have seen their children grow up, leave, and retain a very large house that is not appropriate for them anymore? They are advised that they can sell that old house and purchase a new smaller house that fits their lifestyle.
But they refuse to let go of that finite object.
My father was buried with his war medals.
Just yesterday my close friend pulled out his old ticket stubs from the past. His favorite was one from a Jimi Hendrix concert.
My uncle collects guns, and his favorite is a Mauser. He doesn't even shoot it, he just keeps it around.
My wife wants to throw out a pair of very old and ragged jeans. But I tell her no, I like them and want to wear them until they fall off my body. I have the money, I could go out right now and buy a pair of new jeans.
Ditto with my cowboy boots.
I miss my Austin Healey Sprite. I wish I had never sold it.
David.................But they refuse to let go of that finite object.
Not many people cling to the past David and even if some do the reality of today demand that they let go and let go fast.
Would you still keep your old box monitor when you can have a brain new flat monitor?
Even old cars are not good anymore to run along today freeways so willing or unwilling the change will take place and because the change is unstoppable that means that finite objects lead to infinite and infinite is not within the physical arena or place.

Mine was darker blue and had a black racing stripe down the driver's side. It was a pain to keep running and work on, but when she ran, pure joy.

And I provided good examples of people who are satisfied with finite objects. Case closed.

So what? The fact that I had an NDE and did not convert to woo woo negates your argument.

1) Did the doctor declared you dead?
2) Even if that was the case why should you get an NDE considering that for God it would be a waste of time teaching something that you are not interested in?
3) In Howard Storm case God saw an opening in his mind.
Although he was a strong atheist he was open to possible outcome which is not your and other atheists case.
Was I pronounced Dead? Yes. When I came into the hospital, I was basically a vegetable. On life support. DEAD.
However, I came back. Then died five more times before I finally stabilized.
And my NDE still did not convince me. My mind is open to be convinced that a deity may exist. However, there has been absolutely NO EVIDENCE of any deity's existence. Thus, Arakish's Razor: NO EVIDENCE = NO EXISTENCE.
Until I see evidence, I shall never be convinced. Everything you have posted is nothing but bullshit. And you have heaped so much of it in this thread alone, you can no longer smell the bullshit you keep shoveling.

I was in an operation and they lost my vital signs, twice. During that operation I had a very vivid dream. That perfectly fits the description of an NDE.
Of course the doctor did not declare me dead you dummy, they resuscitated me. How can one drum into your thick head that if a person dies they can never relate that they had an NDE? Only those who stood on the threshold of death and returned are candidates for an NDE.
How do you know I was not interested in your god revealing itself to me? I have a pretty open mind and would have reconsidered my position if it had happened. It would have been a very cool experience. Actually, I wish it had happened to me. I have always wondered if angels have big boobs.
Sheesh, one after another, the classic failed arguments.
Energy is a scalar quantity that is locally conserved; I would be hesitant to hitch your new age beliefs about consciousness to such a post.
My belief is that consciousness and energy always go hand in hand.
They are like the two pages of the same sheet.
Consciousness however vary from person to person and from form of life to form of life.
Provide OBJECTIVE HARD EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE else the Five Razors:

Yeah the old one was cool but I think it had a snobbish look. It was some trickster god. I do not remember it's name and what theology.
Most scientists recognize that everything in the Universe is made out of energy.
What they still haven't fully understood is that energy and consciousness go hand in hand.
One can not exist without the other.
Sooner or later all scientists will come to this conclusion.
The conclusion that yoga reach thousand of years ago.
