Good questions. I am short on time but I basically already had this discussion with "LostLocke." Please go read that convo for answers.
It does not provide a definition of " personal ". Since this word can be used in more than one way,can you define it here?
Also, I have some questions on " Ultimate Reality ", but that will come later.
Unfortunately, my free time is coming to an end, so I may not be back for a while (I have a lot of computer science studies to finish and I am looking after my son).
However, I will give a rough definition for you.
(X) Personal Ultimate Reality: By Personal and it relating to UR I mean Realities fundamental forces and processes are aware, guided, intentional, purposeful etc...
(-X) Impersonal Ultimate Reality: By Impersonal and it relating to UR I mean Realities fundamental forces and processes are unaware, unguided, unintentional, purposeless etc...
I hope this helps, sorry for the brief explanation.
He's added 2 more capitalized adjectives to the word reality!
No problem. Take care.
As such the terms unaware, unguided, unintentional and purposeless are separate assertions and should be dealt independently. What if reality possesses one or few of these qualities, but not all? Would it still be impersonal?
I intended to have a more thorough discussion with you, but since you're busy, maybe we can do it some other time. :)
@interlocutor
I said earlier that you're wasting your time. I take that back. You're not wasting your time - you're making yourself look ridiculous.
