On a serious note, you'd be surprised at the stuff you find, when you don't search for "echo chambers". The first step is always the hardest, to google non religious content when you were originally a "true Christian"!!

They say kids nowadays getting smarter. I don't think that's true. Where I am, most of the kids my age are idiots, but I don't mind, because just like how I escape theism, they probably can too.

Well, the intelligence of kids is kind of a low bar. They may be getting smarter for kids, but they seem to be getting less wise. Need more years alive and time to think things through and recognize that there is so much that is unknown before one can ever hope to start to get wiser. I remember as a kid I thought I was very smart because I could sometimes score higher then other kids, and take quizzes in math etc that my parents even with college degrees would fail miserably because they have not studied the latest version of math and its been 20 years since they took a math class. I now know, I was mostly an idiot while I was in school, and if I knew 1/4th the things back then that I knew now...

Look at the mind of an atheist vs. the mind of a theist. The theist believes there is something out there that has power and control over me. The atheist takes on personal responsibility. I did it, it's my fault, it is the direction I chose.
Stare sat down at his computer with curiosity and a desire to understand. In doing so he ended up googling his way into atheism.
JazzTheist just happens carefully use his computer occasionally. There is content on the web that can damage your mind and control your soul. There is harmful stuff out there but if you google the right content IT (THE CONTENT) WILL MAKE YOU A CHRISTIAN. It's not anything you control. You just find the right content and then you will have no choice. You too will be made a theist if you only happen into the correct content.

The level of education or intelligence says virtually nothing about the validity of either side; otherwise it would be a subtle ad hominem fallacy (''God doesn't exist because religious people are less educated on average''). What's more, being educated doesn't necessarily make you smarter; although it makes you FEEL smarter.
I propose that the reason why more educated people become atheists is likely because of ego. The joy of being smarter than everyone around keeps them from considering a higher power. I'm nowhere saying that ''God exists because atheists have ego''; I'm just offering an alternative explanation for why many educated people are atheists.

Circular reasoning, begging the question and ad hominem. You're basically saying that ''theists are dumb because they have an imaginary friend (begging the question); and the reason why they have an imaginary friend is because they're dumb''. What's more, even if you're right, that doesn't prove that God doesn't exist.

Wow, I almost want to print that out, frame it and put it on a wall in my office. A self proclaimed theist admitting atheist are more educated. Although I am not that egotistical :) Still, I never thought I would see the day where a self proclaimed theist admits atheist are more educated.
Although I would like to point out you do not need an education to be an atheist, all you have to do really is: hold people accountable for the unsupported opinions people put out as fact.

And I disagree with what you claim to be what makes an atheist (which is really unsubstantiated). I'd say that being confined to a naturalistic worldview makes you atheist.
