Kingdom Hearts and it's religious commentary

Today I am going to talk about something that has been on my mind lately. It's about a game series called "Kingdom Hearts". I am mostly going to talk about the mobile game "Kingdom Hearts Unchained X" or "Kingdom Hearts Union X". In the game, you choose to follow different unions, each represented by a different animal and has different foretellers. There's five unions and six foretellers in total. Each foreteller is named after six of the seven deadly sins. More information is in the image below. I also believe that each foreteller represent different religions. For example:

Ava, the foreteller who represents a fox, was given a role by the "Master of Masters" to form a secret organization called the "Dandylions" to follow the Book of Prophecies. It is very similar towards the story of God chose Jesus to find disciples and follow his path to heaven, which did not turn out well.

Gula, the one who represents the leopard, appears to represent the jews. The Master of Masters gave him a "lost page" that foretells a "traitor".

Aced, the bear, represents buddism. He feels like he needs to go against the Masters teachings in order to save people from a great war that was told in the Book of Prophecies. He wanted to form a alliance, but the others refuse to join him.

Invi, the snake, represents hinduism. She was given the task to help the other foretellers to get along, but it didn't go so well.

Ira, the unicorn, represents sikhism. He was chosen to take over the Masters place. He gives news about a "traitor" which began the split the foretellers apart, causing what could only be described as "mccarthyism".

And the last foreteller who wasn't given a specific animal or union, is Luxu. He represents atheism. The reason why he represents athism is quite obvious: He never read the Book of Prophecies. He wasn't at all involved at the many fights the other foretellers have and is considered the most knowledgeable. He was simply given the task of sit and wait for the war to come, to see what happens in the future.

The Book of Prophecies itself represents the holy Bible, and is the main reason why the foretellers turned against one another. The Book of Prophecies is meant as of means to tell the future. In the book, it says that a war will happen and everything will fall to darkness. Not to mention it also mentions a traitor of the five who has fallen to darkness. This made the foretellers fight one another due to them accusing each other of being the traitor, and merely defend themselves because of their "roles" and beliefs. Sounds kinda like religion, wouldn't you say? And the fact that the foretellers try to prevent the war from happening, it was them who caused the war to happen, and everything falls into darkness. The only ones who remain were the Dandylions since they were sent to another world, and Luxu. Luxu is a perfect representation of atheism. He is more knowledeable despite not given the Book of Prophecies, and he merely accepts the fact that the world will fall into darkness, and doesn't do anything about it because the others are merely doing it themselves. For me, it's kinda similar towards how different religions tend to fight one another due to how they think their beliefs are absolute truth while the other is false. And Luxu represents Atheists who can accept death will happen, and are willing accept that there will be no afterlife when they die. Hence, darkness. What do you guys think?

Doesn't sound like the atheists that I know, or myself.

Well to me:

Well to me:

the various religion stories and people's following of them make for good story content for video games. Sometimes reality is stranger then fiction, and obviously always a good source for good story writing.

Three words: Ace Combat Four

It's "old school". Play Station 2 series. But it is the absolutenist bestus most funnest flight game I have ever played. I still have it, as a matter of fact. Haven't had a chance to play it in a few months, but it is there when I want it. Hmmm... Thinking about it, I may have to fire that puppy up again soon. *briskly rubbing hands together*

I play chess. The only other

I play chess. The only other games I have played in the last 20 years are card games, Scrabble, and Exploding Kittens.

Chess is not like religion. It is more like evolution. 64 squares, 32 pieces. After the first five two ply moves there are over 800,000 possible positions. Few of them are good moves.

I am with chimp3. Except I

I am with chimp3. Except I play 3D chess. Could never get the hang of 2D chess. Also love flight sims. Haven't played one in years though. Now days I don't play many games at all. If I do, it usually a mindless game like Polytopia, International Checkers, or Acey-Duecy so as to help me go to sleep. Yes, I still have a horrible time trying to get to sleep. I need something mindless and boring to help.

Thus, sorry Michael. I probably won't give your game a second thought. Much like I only read the first sentence and a half before reading other's comments and posting mine.

Besides, this is an atheism debate forum board, not an advertisement board for silly games.

Meh, Kingdom Hearts is okayyy

Meh, Kingdom Hearts is okayyy... I liked Jak and Daxter. Great games. Hella confusing plot, but solid gameplay with so much replay value. And the trifecta of gaming excellence? Spyro the Dragon. Greatest game trilogy of all time. It's getting remastered for next-generation consoles in September. Can't wait!
