Keep telling yourself it's not a form/system of belief. If that's what makes you feel better than go ahead. You also probably think your limited way of thinking is some new modern belief aka atheism. Atheism is as old as religion itlself.
Yeah, I have little doubt that as long as there has been religious hucksters, there have been those who doubted them.

@ Searching for truth: Limited way of thinking? Atheism has nothing at all to do with how a person thinks. What are you on about? I believe a whole lot of things. Frankly I am beginning to believe that you don't know how to read. What I don't believe is that Gods or magic, or spirits or ghosts, or pixies, or leprechauns, or ferries, or angels, or superheros, or dragons exist. I know for a fact gullible people exist.
@ Atheism is as old as religion itself???? Are you making some sort of point here? Do you not know what the world Atheist means. A = without Theism = belief in god. Obviously if a tribe had a belief in a god and I did not believe in that god I would be an atheist with regards to that god. Are you actually trying to state the obvious, "water is wet," or did you actually think you were saying something profound? Atheism means "non-believer."
