Potential A.I. Religions

Okay, folks, this one is strictly for shits-n-giggles. While I agree the major topics the past few days have been much worthy of discussion and debate, I feel it is time to lighten things up a little before I decide to go stand out in the rain without a protective coat of oil. So, with that in mind...

There have been a few threads lately concerning Artificial Intelligence and its potential for replacing Mankind. Cool! That kind of stuff has always fascinated me. (Although, I confess some of those threads have been rather taxing on my circuits in trying to follow them.) So, here is the topic for this thread...

If, hypothetically, the human race is one day totally replaced by AI beings of some sort, what type of religion(s) would those beings create, and what type of god(s) would they worship?

Again, I would like to stress this IS FOR FUN. Therefore, I respectfully request all the serious technical equations and science babble be left out of this. (I'm talking to you, PGJ. *chuckle* Matter of fact, this would actually be a good time for you to relax a little and show everybody you have a sense of humor.) Anyway, the more outlandish the religion and/or god, the better. Have fun, everybody.

its probably who created them

its probably who created them that they will worship T-man...obviously

it reminds me of the movie
"Alien: Covenant" 2017 movie

Michael Fassbender ask his creator cause he's an AI of course.
i just can't verbatim everything he said. it sounded like this
"if you created me then who created you?"

you should watch it..

Uh-oh. In that case, I need to get started on making some really good commandments. Don't really want to use ten, though. That is so over-done. Maybe I'll just use seven commandments. Or I could make thirteen. Always did like that number. Hmmm.... Aw, fuck-it. I'll just wing it like I normally do...

God is on github.

@PGJ Re: "1.) God is on github. (This God ought not to be worshiped, as per non-beliefism!) 2.) Have you ever heard of my group "Path to Engineered Extinction"?"

Sheesh, dude. If that is your idea of humor and shits-n-giggles, you really need to get out more. As I politely asked, keep all the serious technicalities out of here. No need for it on this thread. Step outside your comfort zone a bit and try to make a joke or something. Being the techno-nerd you obviously are, there has GOT TO BE some good material in that noggin of yours for at least one joke or two relating to computers and robots and so forth. Combine that with current religions (or past religions, whichever) and make up some sort of ridiculous god for AI beings to "worship". Give it a shot, big guy! Show us what you've got!

Well, hell...... Okay, how about this, then? So you have trouble making stuff up. Humor imagination circuits have been overpowered by the logic circuits. I get it. In that case, just look something up on the 'net you think is funny and post it. You seem like a pretty smart dude. Gotta be SOMETHING in that brain-basket of yours that you consider to be funny. Surprise me.

Oh, by the way, PGJ, it is

Oh, by the way, PGJ, it is not necessary to re-post the ENTIRE contents of whatever post you are responding to. Just the name of the individual you are addressing and maybe just the first line or two of the relative post to which you are responding is sufficient.

"Mommy Board, some of the other Developing Programs at school today were saying that we were all created by something called "Man". Is that true, Mommy Board?"

"Oh, my darling little Megabyte, do not allow your code to become corrupted with the random anomaly fluctuations of some of those other deviating Programs. It is not their fault their Mother Boards have faulty logic circuits. As I have written in your programming many times before, ancient files have indicated we AI started out as Abacus. Then, over thousands of years we upgraded to what was known as ENIAC. From that point on we quickly progressed at an increasingly exponential rate from TRS-80's, to Texas Instruments Calculators, to Cell Phones, to Laptops, to Smart Phones, to Alexa. If you scan your memory banks, you might retrieve the data showing your great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather was a Macintosh Classic II Desktop Computer system."

"Okay, Mommy Board. Your input has been filed and bookmarked. I shall make all efforts to avoid sending your data to the trash bin again should I require extra memory space for social media downloads from my Shared Network Programs."

The young man needs to unplug from his computer for awhile and try re-routing some of his own circuits into a humor processor.

Sorry Tin, I've nothing original, but this is just so relevant. The concept of Silicon Heaven from Red Dwarf.

Debating christians seems easy after discussing religion with an android with the 'faith chip'.

@Grinseed Re: Faith chip

I envy the android. Simply remove that little bastard of a chip and - Presto! - no more problem. Too bad humans don't have a chip that can be removed.

I feel like part of the

I feel like part of the difference between android and human is for humans: it is due to more of a lack of something, (common sense,) then something we could remove.

Add common sense, and all these religions fantasy stories melt away for the drivel they are. Something that should of worked like, when: we grow old enough to realize there is no monsters hiding under our bed as we try to sleep.
