Question about the validity of Jesus

I have read some posts which say the bible cannot be used to prove Jesus ever existed. My question is, why then, are there testimonies of people from other faiths who say they converted due to experiences they had with Jesus? Many people for example say they were close to dying or had a traumatic disease, asked Allah or Krishna (depending on their faith) for help with no response. However, when they asked Jesus, a bright light appeared and saved them. Examples are:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvYvlwodUpA

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjzdG2tNPgw

there are many more examples of these. Why is it that even in meditation, near death experiences, and dreams that many people who convert say their own deities didn't help them when they were being attacked or had issues, but Jesus did? I'm not saying there isn't a rational explanation for this (it could easily be mind trickery here) but I just wonder, why do all these stories seem to suit Christians and not other faiths? I've even used google translate to look on google in the middle east or google india to see if there are testimonies of Islamic/Hindu people seeing their deities, but I cannot find it. What is the cause for this?

None of them exist.

None of them exist.
There are plenty of well documented claims of people meeting Islamic Angels, Seeing Krishna, Ra, and Zeus. Never mind well documented and eye witness accounts of Achilles (Demi god) Hercules (demigod) etc etc. Joseph Smith maintained he was instructed by an angel.

Are you seeing the connection RT? Myth, lie, con, unreliable testimony.

No one here is going to watch these videos and convert, why? because they are 100% fakery. Good luck with your life but posting this kind of bullshit does you no favors.

@Old Man well the first link

@Old Man well the first link is really genuine but the second one might not be

Old man shouts at clouds's picture
How do you ascribe "really

How do you ascribe "really genuine?"
Quality of the video? Well constructed story? Good presentation?

There is no corroboration, no evidence just assertions. Like all the other evangelist "experiences" designed to market to the gullible and pre disposed to magic/mediums/charlatans and fakers.

Try a course of meditation RT. It might just help you sort the wheat from the chaff. And stay away from YouTube, its filling your head with crap.

@Old Man I just can't get

@Old Man I just can't get over how the lady in the first link I gave was crying, but I think I should try meditation

As I have said before RT, as

As I have said before RT, as a professional actor I am trained to cry at request. Its a learned skill, You can do it if you were trained. Convincing performances are just that, performances. Too many giveaways in that video, same as another you posted here. Go back, look at my critique from before and apply it to this little effort.
Train yourself to see those performance giveaways, maybe g to acting class yourself, you'll soon spot these con artists.

It scores a 4/10 for performance and a 1/10 for credibility.

Oh, my fucking WORD Russian

Oh, my fucking WORD Russian Tank, YET ANOTHER FUCKING ATTEMPT TO CLAIM NDE ARE REAL. For the last fucking time asshole, NDEs are NOT real.

Russian-Tank's picture
@mykcob4 ok fine forget NDEs

@mykcob4 ok fine forget NDEs but there are other kinds of testimonies, I bet if you even saw 2 minutes of the first one you would see what I am saying

Russian-Tank - ...but there

Russian-Tank - ...but there are other kinds of testimonies...

There is nothing special about the Christian religion. You can find similar testimonials for any of the major religions. The only "value" these testimonials have is reinforcing what you already believe. Clearly you want to believe this nonsense, so you are desperate to find some justification for it. Either grow up and dump this superstition; or embrace the superstition and get on with your life.

@Russian Tank I started a

@Russian Tank I started a thread about how testimonies are NOT valid and why! Fucking keep up and quit watching YouTube videos!

You cannot use something that

You cannot use something that happens within the laws of nature to prove something that is impossible.

Lot's here. First of all

Lot's here. First of all VALIDITY: 1. the quality of being logically or factually sound; soundness or cogency. "one might question the validity of our data" There is nothing about a magic man waggling his fingers and making the blind see or the lame walk that screams validity. There is nothing whatsoever valid about the idea of Jesus.

2. the state of being legally or officially binding or acceptable. "return travel must be within the validity of the ticket" While the belief in Jesus might be a valid reason for joining a Church, there is nothing what so ever to support the myths and superstitions surrounding all the Jesus stories. No reason at all to say anything at all about Jesus is valid.

@Russian Tank "Allah or Krishna (depending on their faith) for help with no response." Nothing could be further from the truth. Lord Buddha serves the Buddhists. Vishnu Serves the Hindus. Thor serves the Vikings. Allah serves the Muslims. All these folks have near death and magical experiences that prove their religion is real.

Christian sees Muhammad and converts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wuFFX3M0oY

Lord Krishna appears to believers in the sky: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94gPy4wP8ZA

near death experience-supreme soul shiva: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWsd0xe5hFU

Near Death Experiences - NDE - and Buddhism: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_OiRe0rYwU

All religions have the EXACT SAME MYTHOLOGY when it comes to their Gods and Prophets. They also have the exact same STUPID arguments when they try to prove their beliefs to be true.

"say their own deities didn't help them when they were being attacked or had issues, but Jesus did."

You are only talking to the people who converted to Christianity. Try talking to the Christians who converted to Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, Islam, or anything else. There is a reason they left the Christian faith.

@Cognostic,

@Cognostic,

I see what you are saying, but the thing is that these people just claim dreams or something. The second last link is just an animation of what would happen if you were to die, doesn't show an actual account. It just seems there is far more proof of Jesus than any other deity on the web.

Old man shouts at clouds's picture
RT..."just seems there is far

RT..."just seems there is far more proof of Jesus than any other deity on the web"
You must be misunderstanding the word "proof". Simply there is no proof, evidence or manifestation of any god on the "web". That there are more jesus videos on the web merely proves that western culture is richer and far more gullible, therefore easier pickings, for those that perpetrate the myth.

NONE OF THEM CONSTITUTE PROOF!

Russian-Tank's picture
@ Old man, let me ask you

@ Old man, let me ask you this: it seems like there are many NDEs where one sees Jesus, but I have never found one of an Islamic person meeting or seeing Muhammad, or a Hindu seeing Krishna etc. If it were in fact true that not a single Muslim saw Muhammad ever in an NDE but Christians saw Jesus, would you say that gives Christianity the edge, or does Islam still have just as good of a chance of being correct as Christianity?

Old man shouts at clouds's picture
Neither. What part of "No

Neither. What part of "No evidence, no proof" do you have difficulty understanding?
If I made a video of an actor meeting Zeus, complete with special effects and it went viral..is that evidence? Are the Harry Potter films evidence for Hogwarts?

Religionists are gullible, easy marks for money. Jesus lovers even more so, As Islam becomes less primitive, its adherents less social the explosion in web technology will catch up there. You can see already the amount of Islamic preachers on Youtube is increasing exponentially. Do they prove the existence of Mohammed?

I wont respond again if you keep on. THERE> IS> NO> PROOF>ANYWHERE> FOR any god or gods...Claro??

Cognostic's picture
@Russian-Tank. Yes. There

@Russian-Tank. Yes. There is far more proof of Jesus on the web. Christianity is the top religion in the world with over 3 billion followers. It has 35% or more of the world's population following it. In the ENGLISH speaking world, Christianity is the top religion and has about 90% of the population following it. According to Pew Research: " The 10 countries in the Americas with the largest number of Christians collectively are home to a third (33%) of all the world’s Christians."

You want to find all the support for Muhammad and Allah, you have to learn to speak Arabic. You see Christianity because you speak English. And ... We have not even hit South America, Europe, Africa, The Philippines, or all those other Christian nations who, frankly, use English and worship the Western idea of God. OF COURSE YOU ONLY SEE JESUS ON THE INTERNET!

Indeed. How many times did he

Indeed. How many times did he search for "الله" ("Allah" in Arabic) to find testimonials from Muslims?
