I am sick and tired of being reprimanded or belittled or being called some kind of troll(whatever that is) for ridiculing "Theists" who believe stupid things. There is way to much civility and "intellectual" bullshit going on in this forum. In fact it pisses me off how calm, gentle, nice, mellow, or kind most of you react to people who believe immoral, or moronic things. It is not just the belief in Adam and Eve and the talking snake which is absolutely, totally incredibly "NUTS" but the all the harm in the bible that accepts slavery, sin to homosexuals, stoning of woman, death to infidels, or murdering if you work on the sabbath or beheading if you leave Islam--etc etc etc etc etc.etc etc etc etc. I am really tired of your gentle manor in "discussing" ideas. It does not seem you would be any different to Nazis as I don't see much difference to the "horror" of religion and Fascism. During the time of Jim Crow or slavery would you do nothing or talk mildly or "comfortably" to the fucking racists. I don't expect all of you to be as outraged as I am but it discussed me to watch your wimpy, mild mannered, easy going, "rational" "intellectual bullshit "debate". Maybe I am just a better person than all of you as I react to hurtful and evil and destructive, and prejudice, and damaging, ideas and behavior. Other times I use "satire" but you somehow take me literally. Even the most exaggerated, distortion of "ideas" somehow "you" and others interpret what was meant to be "humor" as true. I often laugh (to myself) at how you can misunderstand my intent. Even if I am a troll (whatever that I) is it "liberal" or open to "free expression" to censor different ideas even if disagreeable. If you don't think we ridicule creationist ideas, then you don't 'get' any of our arguments. We just don't use your form of ridicule, which simply amounts to pointing and saying 'that's stupid'. Instead we point, tell them it is stupid, and also tell them why. You see, unlike you, we don't simply expect people to consider changing their mind based solely on our say so, without giving them any sort of explanation as to why they should. Sure, it doesn't usually work, but I have personally reached many people. Many in my own family, and even some of the people I have talked to online, have moved away from religion.
I am sorry that you have no grasp of good debate tactics or argumentation, but that doesn't magically make me less rational or reasonable, it only exposes the flaws in your character.
