What separates belief from fact?

That which is real/fact is

That which is real/fact is that which conforms with reality. If your statement that belief and fact are one and the same, then how do you form an objective view of reality? Second, are you certain that belief is no different from fact? If so, how do you know that your position is accurate (consistent with reality) as opposed to a flawed belief? Your statement itself makes a truth claim, but if there is no objective truth, then how do you know your statement is correct?
