You Say You're A Christian AND Not A Hypocrite? You Are ;)

**Sorry, I was just going through some old posts and my OCD made me want to edit some mistakes I've made, I didn't know it would put at the top of the forum again, lol.**

Just an observation that I have made awhile ago, and recently thought of again.

Isn't it just gosh darn hilarious how the 2 biggest Christian holidays have 2 fake things that parents KNOW are not real (Santa and the Easter Bunny), and lie about how both of those two exist? Every. Single. Year. Shouldn't the focus be on Jesus and not a bunny or fat dude who steals your cookies? So to say you're a true christian and not a hypocrite/liar is... not true.

Well said my Friend. This is what happens when you twist your religion according to your likes/dislikes and start worshiping something or someone that is not GOD.

Haha! My thoughts exactly. It's funny too when Christians say this season is the time for giving. Isn't every day a good day to do that? And I also notice some would only give to chosen people who would also give them some things in return, like an exchange gift, so it's practically not a giving season but an exchange-gift-season. Another observation I have made is that some become super nice to people during these special holidays, but after that, they return to their old habits of ignoring people or being not-so-nice. It just surprises you to see them all smiles on Christmas and then give you a dry smile on other days. It's like they have split personalities!

They have been conditioned to

They have been conditioned to be a hypocrite as a way of life from birth, what would you expect?

The problem is that they don't really know how much of a horrible person they look when they display their hypocrisy without knowing.

Then you find them asking why, all this hate towards Christians?

We would love to tell them the reason but we are better then that.

reason:

Maybe if you stop being a hypocrite about what you truly believe with yourself and others maybe people would feel free to actually be open with you.

How can you seriously believe you are on the right path and at the same time feeling so unworthy of your own path, how does this self arrogant position, combine with this position of guilt of not living up to those religious conditions.

Why not just admit that the conditions are not possible to reach because who made the conditions is cruel and unreasonable to begin with.
Why do you need to be a hypocrite with yourself and claim that the conditions are the right ones when no one can even reach them?
Worse of all, to expect that unbelievers to believe in those conditions regardless of your hypocrisy is the cherry on top.

To put those conditions on your innocent children without giving them the chance to mature to understand them is also cruel but is seen as a good thing anyway.

That is what sane people see when they look at a christian, a cruel, misguided person, that does not know he is one, but also refuses to even find the truth about his own religion.

Basically a hypocrite with himself and others to remain ignorant and happy but in the process hurting others because of their ignorance.

Would we have priest raping children and get away with it if it wasn't for the ignorance of Christians that give their churches so much power and control over the mindless Christians?

Would we even need to debate over gay rights if it wasn't for the church messing with the institution using the masses(Christians) to have the power to do so?

Christians just don't see it, but their inaction to see reason, is action that can be used by their leaders to do evil things.
Christians are just mindless drones cultivated and built for one purpose only, to be controlled when the churches wants something, mostly money or power.

Muslims are being used this way currently by some of their leaders, we call them radicals, but in reality any Muslim can be used to some point in this manner.

Children's minds are fragile

Children's minds are fragile and dependent. Exercising the traditions of the seasons is healthy stimulation and promotes the rise of minds that can think outside of the box.

Tearing down our illusions is an important step in maturing, but to do so requires the fantasies to exist in the first place.

Imagining Santa brings joy to children. They have all their grown up lives to be miserable.

That was a fantastic answer. Makes sense, but I'm talking about the religious being hypocrites, not exactly about the effects it has on childrens brains in a non-religious way.

If animals do not have a soul

If animals do not have a soul and cannot go to heaven, and cannot talk or use the internet, how do they know there is an imaginary being in the sky, without an ability to formulate thoughts beyond basic instinct?

Enlighten me.

All animals know God. They

All animals know God. They don’t question HIS existence or argue HIS methods. They don’t feel the need to improve or change what God has already made perfect. They know God without thinking about it or trying to explain it. They simply know and accept.

Animals are God’s creatures. They know that they have a purpose and they don’t ask ‘why me’ or ‘can I do it later?’ They just follow their hearts. Their hearts are open to the influence of God.

All animals know love. Animals are loyal, forgiving, empathic and loving. They can sense our emotional states and respond. They understand that the tempers and reactions of humans aren’t about them. They come back for love and to give affection and comfort, time after time, when we have treated them badly or ignored them. They are generous and kind without wondering if they will be rewarded for it. They don’t wait for someone to be kind first.

Animals are present in each moment. They live each moment as if there is nothing else. They recognize the beauty of life and this Earth. They never forget the wonder of everything around them. All too often, we humans get caught up in our day-to-day tasks and “what will happen tomorrow.” We completely miss today. How often do we find ourselves going through life in a state of numbness? Or how often do we wake up and realize that we’ve been doing whatever we were doing with no awareness at all. Animals get through their daily activities, but they do not lose ‘today’ in the process. They can focus on their goals and still enjoy the journey.

Animals know people. They see into the souls of people. They don’t care about how you look or what you do. They see you as you really are at the core and they accept you. They know that we ALL are creations of God and therefore, worthy of love and attention. They don’t care if you say something stupid or if you make a mistake. They realize that we are all perfect because God made us. Whatever flaws we may have are only judged as flaws through our cultural perceptions. Animals know that we are here to learn, grow and enjoy the journey.

Animals know themselves. They are true to themselves, no matter what. They don’t base their actions on what someone else may think. They are guided by love and they follow that instinct without question. They know their bodies. When they are tired, they rest. When they are hungry, they eat. When they are restless, they exercise.

Animals know their place in Nature. They revere the order of the Universe. If they need to eat, they eat what they were created to eat. They protect what they need to protect and leave the rest alone. They don’t tear up all of the trees that they live in ….or poison streams because they want a greater yield. They don’t pollute the air because they must do everything faster. They live in harmony with all other life, just as God meant them to.

Why didn't god make humans like that? That's basically saying he WANTS us to sin, if he has the power to make us not sin (because he allows animals to not sin), but chooses to have us make mistakes and do things he doesn't like.

These are 6 instances where pets have killed their owners. Some can display empathy, but most will kill you on a whim, still think all animals are loving, loyal, and empathetic?

We also have an example of

We also have an example of Noah's Ark from the Books where many animals came and boarded the Ark themselves.

Quran says:

Allah says: “All that is in the heavens and on Earth glorify Allah.” [Sūrah al-Hashr: 1]

Allah also says: “And assuredly We gave David grace from Us, (saying): O ye hills and birds, echo his psalms of praise!” [Sūrah Saba’: 10]

And Allah says: “Do you not see that all things that are in the heavens and on Earth bow down in worship to Allah – the Sun, the Moon, the stars; the hills, the trees, the animals, and a great number of human beings? But a great number are (also) such as are fit for punishment. And those whom Allah shall disgrace none can raise to honor, for Allah carries out all that He wills.” [Sūrah al-Hajj: 18]

Yep, that mosquito is just giving you a little love nip. Swat it away and it will just keep coming back for love cuz it so wants to give you affection and comfort. Let's tell that story to the loved ones of the estimated 2 - 3 million people who, every year, dies from their little love nips.

Jamal, you say a lot that sounds poetic, and I think you probably consider it solid proof that your god exists. For me, however, it is simply not compelling. I guess your standards for that upon which you base your views is simply far flimsier than mine.
