Data Reveals Most Indians "Do Not See Liberalism as a Virtue"

India, despite having a secular and pluralistic constitution, is still massively majoritarian in its views, according to a recent book by a data journalist. The book also claimed that India’s youth has a weaker commitment to democracy and freedom of speech than what is currently believed.

According to the data, “Age, education and urbanization, and income do not produce the moderating, progressive liberal effects on views that we in our popular imagination in India assume they do. Young people do not hold more progressive values than their parents or even their grandparents.”

New Report Shows Antisemitic Propaganda Increased by 27% in 2021

White supremacist propaganda “remained at a historic level in 2021,” according to an annual report by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). The report also revealed a dramatic increase in anti-semitic activities over the last year.

The ADL is a Jewish Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that seeks to “stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.”

Study Finds White Evangelicals Oppose Religious Diversity

A 2021 survey published on November 1, by the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) revealed the extreme opposition that the majority of Evangelicals have towards religious diversity. The 2021 American Values Survey conducted by the PRRI from September 16 to 29, 2021, included 2,508 American respondents. The survey's result showed a growing number of Americans, both religious and non-religious, support religious diversity.

New Study Reveals Most Americans Support Separation of Church & State

A March 2021 survey conducted by the Pew Research Center showed that most adult US Americans support the separation of church and state. With 69% of the respondents agreeing that the federal government should never declare any state religion. At the same time, 67% agree that the US Constitution was written by humans and reflects their vision, not necessarily God’s vision.
