Does the 'Agree Button' add to other members' reputation or is it just a courtesy?
Sorry, just trying to wrap my brain around this forum style.
I am also unaccustomed to long pauses between forum posts.
With fellow writers there is usually a barrage of replies within minutes, many of them lengthy.

Used to, each time you posted it would show how many agrees/disagrees you had, now it just shows on your profile. That changed only very recently so the entire system is constantly in flux. I don't know what you mean by "long pauses", when you have people from all over the world investing in a forum it usually takes twenty-four hours for it to get to everyone because there's always somebody sleeping while you are posting and posting while you are sleeping.
