Good News / Bad News

I've got some good news and some bad news.
First the Good News: I am on vacation in the Philippines. Woo Hoo I just checked into my hotel room and flicked on the TV

NOW THE BAD NEWS:
Some old fart is telling me how much I need Jesus. God can't grant all our prayers over here because he know what is going to happen over there. (Wow - this guy is good.) People in the audience are diligently taking notes. Satan is still talking and people can not close their ears but there is not a single sin in your life that god will not forgive.....

NOW THE GOOD NEWS:
Every single person in the audience is over 60, Not a young person in the bunch. The preacher himself looks to be 80.

More BAD news"
God wants "Listening Hearts." Oh fuck! Someone needs to take a biology class.

Good News:
There are literally about 500 people in attendance, I still have not seen anyone under .... 50.... a couple look younger than the average.

Bad News
OMG - I saw a woman who might have been in her 30s. What the fuck is wrong with her.

Good News: If more churches are like this one, we are going to be free of religion in 30 years.

@ilovechloe Re: To Cog - "So how did you end up in this church in the Philippines?"

I think he said he was watching a service on television. Besides, I imagine Cog is not so irresponsible as to step into a church. He's more considerate to others than that, and would not want to be the cause of all the injuries/deaths that might occur when the building collapses upon his entry. That would just be rude... *chuckle*...

Edit to add: As it is, I'm amazed his television didn't explode due to his watching the service.
