It's very sad that this women have to put up with asshole husbands. Using religion to make a woman submit to the husband is morally wrong.

Why would a book that contains the idea that women as property cause men to ignore the rights of women?

Blows my mind that so many

Blows my mind that so many women accept religion. With it's history, and still ongoing process of: making women either property or 2nd class to men.

Then again, millions of women voted for "grab em by the pussy" donald trump. I guess I should not have been too surprised that women would vote for trump over the first female major party nominee. I guess their is plenty of women out there that prefer their 2nd class status and would like to revert to the more traditional: the man of the house makes all the rules no matter how sexist.
