Source of knowledge

This is not about theism nor atheism. I just want to know what are your thoughts when it the word rational and empirical comes to your mind. Which side you prefer the source of knowledge. Thanks for giving any ideas!

Rational and empirical go hand in hand. There is no way you can choose side. You need to question what you observe. There is no theory that holds if there is no eventual proove.
