Planned Parenthood — America’s most trusted provider of reproductive health care — delivers vital reproductive health care, sex education, and information to millions of women, men, and young people worldwide. When the organization received a donation from Pastor Greg Locke, they sent him the very thoughtful “Thank You” card but it made him furious. Let’s see why...
Firstly, Pastor Greg Locke, from the Global Vision Bible Church, has never donated money to the Planned Parenthood Organization. Someone, probably a witty person, used his name to donate to Planned Parenthood. Secondly, he is one of the biggest opponents of the Planned Parenthood. And that’s where the problem starts.
Pastor Greg Locke is the founder and Lead Pastor of Global Vision Bible Church located in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. He has a Graduate of Theology Degree from Ambassador Baptist College, a Master’s Degree in Revival History from the Baptist Theological School of New England. But, he is also clear about Planned Parenthood and has a “very bold and biblical stand against them”.
After receiving a personal “Thank You” card because of his donation, he made an angry video about it with the caption “PLANNED PARENTHOOD SENT ME A PERSONAL ‘THANK YOU’ AND IT HAS ME LIT” and posted it on his Facebook profile. He said much more in the video, but here is the main part of his monologue:
“There has never been an organization in the world that has killed more innocent people — other than radical Islam — than that of Planned Parenthood.
Look, I’m just gonna say it boldly whether you like it or not: Planned Parenthood does not give the flip of a wooden nickel about women’s health care. It’s a bunch of deceptive individuals that are in it for the money, that have been known to sell baby parts on the black market, and they have done nothing but butcher innocent lives for years…
So if nothing else becomes of this video, I at least want everyone to know that Pastor Greg Locke has absolutely, positively, teetotaling nothing to do with Planned Parenthood, and I don’t want my name associated with this wicked mess…
Y’all can keep butchering babies. I’m gonna keep speaking the truth.”
Locke’s reaction was exaggerated and unnecessary and his video gave some people an interesting idea to donate more money in his name. It remains to be seen what the Pastor will film next.
