I know a bullshit lie when I hear one. The bible is full of bullshit lies. The mother of all bullshit lies is that there is a being called god, who lives in the sky, who judges us and who will send us to burn in hell forever if we masturbate too much. Christians also believe that god not only loves us but that he cares for us and wants only what’s best for mankind. To validate these ridiculous claims, they will point to many passages of scripture in the damn bible to help justify their outrageous assertions. The bible says god loves us and his mercies are new every morning. That’s total bullshit.

But, of course, god doesn’t really exist. He’s more imaginary than Humpty Dumpty or George W. Bush’s intelligence.  None of these three things actually exist and even a child can understand this.

But, for the sake of argument, let’s say that god does exist. Let’s pretend there really is a magic sky fairy god who watches us, and who dares us to question his ultimate self-given authority. Let’s say right now, he’s watching over us like a glorified Santa Claus, beard and all.

Because these beliefs are so rampant all over the world, it’s the Atheists job not only to dispel the rumor that god exist but also that god is all loving, all knowing and all merciful and we must call these allegations what they really are. Dangerous, bullshit lies. The religious fanatics must understand why the god they serve is evil and that the religion they follow is immoral, which is contrary to their sacred beliefs.

You see, if god really does love us, he must love us like Chris Brown loves Rihanna or like Michael Vick loves pit bulls. I mean, how can it be said that god loves us when he allows things such as war, famine, sickness, cancer, hunger, poverty, rape and murder, especially when he could eliminate all of these evils if he so desired? And Christians, why would you want to worship this god that sits idly by and allows it all to happen? I guess it’s okay only if it doesn’t happen to you, right? If this is what god’s love looks like, I would hate to see what evils he would unleash upon the human race if he didn’t love us. God, like his followers, must have a perverted sense of love.

So to the Christians, I say not only do I reject your god but I reject his son and Holy Spirit. It’s my trifecta of blasphemy. Furthermore, not only do I reject the triune god but I reject his love as well because it’s corrupted more than Dick Cheney’s ethics. Not only do I reject this monster you refer to as god, I am in fact better than he is in so many ways.

An observant person only has to read the first book of the bible to see that god doesn’t understand real love. His hatred knows no boundaries; his sense of love is perverted and he knows not compassion. For example, in Genesis chapter six, god supposedly calls for a global flood of biblical proportions to kill every man, woman and innocent child except for eight people who he deems righteous. 

Imagine, as god intentionally flooded the world that he “created” and as the water is rising faster and faster, the families flee to the tops of homes, rocks, hills and mountains to find higher ground but to no avail. Then imagine millions of innocent fathers pleading for god to save their families from the rising waters. Imagine the mothers trying to hold on to their newborn babies as currents of water come and sweep that drowning baby right out of her mother’s arms. Imagine that same mother trying to swim to the surface of the water for a breath of air only to be sucked back down by a strong current as water fills her lungs and she dies a painful and slow death by drowning. Imagine this happening all over the world to millions of families and innocent children, over and over and over again until the screaming and crying has been replaced by the splashing of waves against a wooden boat. God is evil and I’m better than he is. Let’s move on to another example.

In Genesis chapter 22, God also asked Abraham, the father of Judaism, to sacrifice his own son to prove obedience and allegiance to god and Abraham was willing to do so. Can you imagine the anguish and the terror and the horror that Isaac felt as his father led him up a mountain, tied him to an altar and was about to slit his throat with a sword before seeing a ram caught in the thicket? Can you imagine the emotional torture that remained with him for the rest of his life. Indeed, god is a sick and twisted fucker.

In other places in the Old Testament, if one ever dared to question or disobey god, he promised in Leviticus 26 that he would “send wild animals...(to) kill (the) children, ravage (the) livestock, and reduce (their) numbers until…roads are deserted.”  In Hosea 9 god assured that “if you do have children who grow up, (he) will take them from you" and would “slaughter their beloved children.” if their parents were to simply disobey god. This doesn’t sound like a loving father to me. A loving father corrects a misbehaving child with compassion. Someone that would kill an innocent child for the sins of a parent is evil and has a twisted mind. These verses show the characteristics of a wicked child murderer, not an all loving god.  There are countless other verses, too numerous to number, that tell of god's unreachable standards and gross demands that are meant to instill anguish in the hearts of the people.

God’s evil nature is also on full display in the New Testament. The bible tells us on several occasions to fear god. One should never have to fear a god who truly loves them and made them sinners. Mark 12:5 says “Fear God, which after he had killed, had power to cast into hell; yes, I say unto you, Fear him.”  Hebrews 10:31 says “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of an living god.”  We also see from the New Testament that God also has no problem deceiving people and then sending them to burn in hell. 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 says “God shall send them strong delusions, that they should believe a lie, that they shall be damned.”  What kind of person would intentionally mislead someone to damn them to hell? God also vows to take vengeance on someone who never had an opportunity to hear the gospel. 2 Thessalonians 1:8 says “In flaming fire, taking vengeance on them that know not God.” If someone who is living on a remote island in the south pacific has never heard of god, never had a chance to hear the gospel and never accepted his gross salvation, god would have no problem sending that person to hell. God, if he was fair, would have mercy on his soul. But god doesn’t play fair. Shame on you god, shame on you.

Later in the New Testament, god vows to send homosexuals to eternal hell. No matter your beliefs, a person does not choose their sexual orientation. And believe it or not, god does condemn homosexuality. Westboro Baptist Church rightly teaches that god hates fags. That’s why, being gay myself, I ask other gay individuals why would they who want to serve a god who hates you? Romans 1:26-27 says “God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did not exchange the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the women, burned in their lust for one another.”  The writer of Romans goes on to say in verse 32 of the same chapter “Who knowing the judgment of God that they which commit such things are worthy of death...” Would a god who loves someone send that person, who was born gay, to hell? The obvious answer is of course not.

For thousands of years people have adored, worshipped and have even given their lives for a god who is an evil murderer, a psychotic killer, a mean-spirited avenger, a fear inducing psychopath and who longs for spilled blood to be pleased. What part of this is love? If scripture is any indication, god takes joy in our pain, he laughs at our sicknesses, and he mocks us when we are in need. God is a prick, he is demented and he is sick. He is repulsive and abhorrent and he is a sorry excuse for an all loving creator.

Fortunately, for us, this god isn’t real. Realizing this truth after reading the damn bible is like waking up from a horrible dream. The most twisted Hollywood screenwriter couldn’t create a villain as horrible as god. But there are millions of people who place their trust and their life in his hands. It’s quite obvious that many Christians haven’t read the Bible, because why would they serve the god that is described in that book? It is our job to not only convince the religious that god isn’t real but also convince them that life is better for everyone if we walk away from god and religious beliefs. When you realize that this life is all we have, you would naturally make this life better for yourself and those around you and make it count for good, not for god. Especially an evil god. Only when you walk away from religion can you know real love and that god is incapable of it.

If god was real, this would be my message to him. I would say it to his face with boldness and no reservation.
