I constantly hear this term being brought up. And again by the Jehova's Witnesses that came to my door a few weeks ago. {So anxious for them to come back, as I have saved some choice verses in my phone that I want to share with them ;-)
Anyway, for myself, the big question about free will is, Wouldn't our "free will" be completely different, if we were given any kind of real, solid evidence for the existence of a God ??? I mean, I can imagine that if I "knew" God existed, that I might be like, "Well, lets see... I can worship and praise this evil, hateful, spiteful entity, who lets millions of good people die from cancer and other hideous diseases, who lets millions of small children die of starvation, who lets nearly two billion people be mislead by the wrong God (Allah) so they can all burn in hell too...... {mysterious ways is sure fucking right !}
OR, I can curse him and go the other way, and then burn in hell for all of eternity !!!
Hmmmm..... Uhhhh..... Well lets see.... I already know how evil this POS can be..... and I mean, if he will let all those millions of people suffer unimaginably, then die and burn in hell for eternity, because they didn't worship and praise him, how much is it going to bother him to send me to hell for all of eternity too ?!?! HOLY Fuck ! I better start kissing some major ass !
Oh sure, it would be my choice..... or, my own free will to follow him or not.... But who the fuck is going to not follow a guy with a track record like his ! You BETTER fucking do it, or else !
