It's not metaphor or anything so subtle, it's hyperbolic rhetoric, and precisely the kind I so detest in Trump. It's lazy, intellectual and factually, it's dismissive and so will be easily dismissed as reactionary by those who support him. I guess they lack irony as well. Try dialling the rhetoric and hyperbole down a notch, keep the phrase 'less is more' in mind, and do some real research and put some fucking effort into your posts instead of these repetitive headache inducing rants.

Very true, Q. Not many people catch that. As it is, though, my mechanic has a PhD in Auto Body Repair, so he likes to be referred to as "Doctor". (Some sort of ego thing, I believe. *rolling eyes*) Anyway, I just say "doctor" out of habit now.
People have been saying that everybody on the planet (every president that ever lived, every person who doesn't even resemble Jesus) is the antichrist ever since the whole thing started.
First, anti does not mean 'against'. It comes from an old Hebrew word which is more like 'in the place of'.
That means the 'antichrist' would RESEMBLE Jesus, not that he would be AGAINST Jesus.
Do you really think anybody is fooled into thinking that Donald Trump is Jesus-like?
Second. If you're such a dedicated Christian who is so full of the spirit of the Lord', as you'd say; so 'zealous' (just filled with 'righteous anger' ), why would you use the 'F' word? That kind of gives you away that you really are just posting something. Not that you have any real interest or anger at all, either secular or Christian. I believe you just like to argue.
The 'Devil' is something being warned of INSIDE the Church, not OUTSIDE the Church. "In the place He should not be". Many of those INSIDE the church would like to re-divert that meaning to meaning Jerusalem because they love to judge, and Jerusalem is what they like to blame. But, the Antichrist comes up, pretending (they) are Jesus from INSIDE their own church. Maybe you're SEEING the Antichrist EVERYWHERE AROUND YOU. Just go to the churches and see how THEY VOTED TRUMP IN.
So, you're kind of right in the fact that you're seeing something which is so pretending to be Jesus (love) but isn't; they're really so far away from being love that they're unrecognizable as Love.
All atheists know this better than the Christians do. When one is far outside the bomb blast, they can see the shape of the bomb blast better than those who are inside the explosion area.
