I know Atheist Republic is an awesome atheist community but what about others? Have you joined Atheist communities on Facebook or Google+? I recently found an active Facebook group that is located in a city near me. I look forward to connecting with members who live near by!

This is the only community that I find truly worth my time. I'm sure there are others, but this one looks most promising to me.
This is the best one I know. There are others but some a filled with kids that don't even know how to whipe their ass on their own and they think they are "cool" because they are atheists. I can't stand community with large numbers of teenagers pretending to be mature and deep. I don't even bother having discussions with teenagers, at that age everyone thinks they are mature.
I have never seen a thread descend into inane slinging matches on this site. That's a pretty rare find on the internet :)
This one is the only forum I participate in that is in regards to religious topics. I think it would be great to see this website grow more and more everyday. I like being part of this community.
This community is very developed and I was surprised to find that even a few of my FB friends have liked the Atheist Republic page.
