Another grandkid to spoil and given the opportunity to be free from the religious con perpetuated onto children before they learn critical thinking skills.
It makes me feel very optimistic and hopeful when I see a child born into a freethinking family. Oh, to be raised without it being drilled into your head that you are broken and in need of fixing, lost and in need of saving from yourself, and bad and in need of redemption... and to be able to blaspheme and criticize without subconsciously, for a split-second, hearing the last vestiges of your former indoctrination screaming at you about how evil and horrible you are for stating facts and asking legitimate questions about religion... *sigh* if only all of that were the case for me...

She’s finally here! Healthy. My daughter is such a hard worker! 26 hours of labor...five and a half hours of it pushing. Dang! So proud!

26 hours of labor? Damn! And Just for one baby? My wife only spent 15 hours pushing two out. And both were 7 pounds!
I would imagine mommy is tired. Glad to hear they are all OK.
