You claim your religion can fix the world and it would make it better. well to be fair it had its chance for more than a 1000 years. and it has caused nothing but suffering. I'm not just think but sure that BIBLE was written by men inspired by God of this universe, the purpose is to turn man into an Immortal which's testable & verifiable, what else you want?

This world will come to an end by the return of CHRIST as the lives of the witnesses of JESUS are correlated with that, until such time, there's no power that might destroy me as one of the witnesses of JESUS. There's time for everything and the time has come to prove whatever that Bible says, this world have no Immortal man those 1000 yrs or so but now, you have being a witness of GOD, being Born Again, therefore to fix this world into a mode eternal bliss has begun as a mark of that effect only witnesses of GOD appear now & closed the gate to heaven so as to demonstrate what was already demonstrated by JESUS in 1st century, therefore all that cruel happened due to the evil, if you consider people who believed in God are killed more than the people killed who're not believers. Thus u cant have any excuses by pointing out persecutions, cruel, inquisition etc.,
I challenged being an Immortal to test & verify existence of GOD, you should have to find a way to do that, instead of you raising irrelevant just to evade responsibility. How long could you survive by these sort of assertions?
What will you live off of for eternity? What will you eat and drink? Do you think you will ever get sick? What will you do if you get a toothache or hemorrhoids like in Deuteronomy 28:27 (MSG) =

I enjoy reading Peter's posts for a chuckle now and then. He is classic example of how religion can negatively affect one's life by wasting personal time and money for nothing.

You know thinking your immortal is usually a sign of mental illness. I can recommend you to a good mental health professional who frequently deals with religious mania.
As Truett suggested (and I suggested in an earlier thread I think), why don't you help us out by making a video of you inserting a say 18 gauge needle into the meat of your little finger and let us see if it draws blood? Consult your doctor ahead of time, of course. Sounds kind of gross but should be an easy task for an immortal (and a non-life threatening task for a normal person). It would go a long way to establishing some credibility.

So you agree that the Bible was written by people and that it's not applicable to all times, like our time.
Yet you say it is infallible without even hesitating? If you had claimed it was written by your God, I would have understood that you would also claim that it is infallible. How could it be written by people, 2000 years ago, but be infallible?

your explanation is that Jesus was reseruccted and made immortal after death and the Bible is the path to it.
Our contention here is that even Jesus, who apparently hailed from an influential family with top notch connections (son of God and all) had to at the very least die (and at most was tortured to death) to attain immortality.
Now we are all expected to die anyway so;
1. Does your book offer Immortality without death? (I didn't think so)
2. What guarantee can your book offer of immortality and if I buy into your scheme (and death reveals only the end without immortality) and I realise I was duped can you refund me ?
3. Your God couldn't help his own "son" how do you expect him to do anything for me?
4. Wheres the proof that your book grants immortality?
Finally I claim that Atheists who die attain immortality and rather belief in any one of these nonsensical religions actually prevents you from becoming immortal. Immortal is our default state, these pyramid schemes called religion dupe us of our natural inheritance..... can you prove that as untrue?
Just In case; that last para was just to impress on you that the burden of providing proof rests with he who makes the claim. Just as I have made a ludicrous claim that "Atheists who die attain immortality and rather belief in any one of these nonsensical religions actually prevents you from becoming immortal." I need to provide the proof and not demand it from you.
