Reacting to a recent reports about the National Institutes of Health carrying out a study to see why lesbians tend to have a steeper rate of obesity than others, conservative radio host Bryan Fischer said something bizarre on his program last week. According to Fischer, American President Barack Obama’s wife and the First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama should launch a new campaign aimed at encouraging women to lose weight and stop being lesbian. He proposed the title ‘Fight Obesity, Go Straight’ for the campaign that he believes Mrs. Obama should launch as soon as possible if she is serious about fighting obesity.

“I would suggest that if Michelle Obama really cares about obesity, she should be out there leading the charge against normalizing lesbianism. She should be at the head of a campaign to convince women not to get into lesbianism. Her slogan ought to be ‘Fight Obesity, Go Straight,’” he said.
