When former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee was given ten minutes to speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on March 7, he wasted no time before diving into his area of specialization. During his speech, he said that God has created the United States of America and if the country does not repent for its wrongdoings, it will deserve to be destroyed like Sodom and Gomorrah.

“If this nation forgets our God, then God will have every right to forget us. There is no other way to explain our history other than by His hand of providence,” said Huckabee while elucidating how deep down in their hearts, most Americans know God created the United States of America.
