Is it wrong for adults to marry minors, regardless of culture or society? Muslim-American writer and founder of the Muslim Skeptic, Daniel Haqiqatjou, believes there’s nothing wrong with marrying nine-year-old girls if they are physically mature.
Haqiqatjou made these statements during a lecture titled "LGBTQ Agenda in the Education System and Homeschooling Our Children" at An-Noor Cultural Center in Queens, New York City, on June 2nd.

During his lecture, he argued that because child marriage, which he also described as a "beautiful institution,” was abolished, millions of children in American public schools are molested yearly.
"This is the reality of the modern West because they have abolished this idea of minor marriage. They have abolished this idea that when you are [past] puberty, your body has matured, your body has certain desires, and those desires are fulfilled through marriage.” Haqiqatjou said.

“That is a beautiful institution, a halal, beautiful institution, that every culture has had, every religion has sanctioned, has approved of. It was only abolished because they want to spread fornication,” he also added.
Haqiqatjou said that minor-attracted persons (MAP), also used to describe pedophiles, are more involved in public schools by replacing principals, guidance counselors, and other school staff.
He also talked about Sweden, where he said that Muslim children are taken from their parents by the government after public schools alert the authorities that the parents are teaching their kids that homosexuality is wrong, a claim that the Swedish government discredited.

Haqiqatjou also attempted to refute claims that the Prophet Muhammad was a pedophile after he married Aisha when she was six and consummated the marriage at nine years old, insisting that she was already physically mature.

"So what is the proper counterargument to these people, who want to accuse the Prophet of some kind of misbehavior because of his marriage to 'Aisha? They want to compare it to child pedophilia. So there are a number of responses to this,” Haqiqatjou said.
“Number one, 'Aisha was mature. She was physically mature at age nine, and that's very different than people who want to molest little kids in a closet. That is not the same as marrying someone who is physically mature,” he added.

Most experts consider the ages 9 to 11 as part of middle childhood and preadolescence stages for both males and females.
