A 33-year-old woman from Texas was arrested for threatening to decapitate her parents and “resurrect them along with her three dead children.” Jodi English Tucker was charged with two counts of terroristic threats (family violence), a class A misdemeanor.

As CBS7 reports:  The terroristic threats were reported at 8:40 p.m. on Thursday in the 4700 block of Devonian Avenue, the Odessa Police Department affidavit detailed.

Officers made contact with 59-year-old Regenia Tucker, the mother of Jodi Tucker; who stated her daughter just arrived home and threatened her and her husband, 59-year-old Raymond Tucker, the affidavit detailed.

Jodi Tucker reportedly told her parents it was judgment day and she was going to cut off their heads. Regenia Tucker stated she feared for her life as this was the first time Jodi Tucker had acted aggressively toward them.

Regenia Tucker stated her and her husband bought door knobs with locks on them to keep Jodi Tucker from entering their rooms at night to hurt them, the affidavit stated. Regenia Tucker stated she had also contacted MHMR for a mental evaluation but was told Jodi Tucker had to go on her own will.

Jodi Tucker reportedly refused to talk to officers. She said police officers weren’t real cops and the cartels were coming after her and the cartels were watching her family. Officers saw Jodi Tucker’s eyes were glassy and she looked as if she hadn’t showered in days, the affidavit stated.

Raymond Tucker also showed officers a video from his cell phone of Jodi Tucker getting into her parent’s faces stating that she was God, it was judgment day, she was going to cut off their heads and resurrect them along with her three dead children.

Resurrection or anastasis is the concept of coming back to life after death. The death and resurrection of Jesus, an example of resurrection, is the central focus of Christianity. This woman is obviously mentally ill and she needs help. This is just one case among many where fairytales about bringing someone to life after death don’t make good bedtime stories.
