(I'd like to remain anonymous, please! I'm not ready to tell people I'm an atheist, and I don't want anyone I know seeing this with my name attached to it.)

I'm not sure I agree that it's okay to ramp up hate against religion just because it endorses or is associated with terrible things. I'm not saying I like religion, but it seems like people always go the extra mile and hate everyone who subscribes to that religion. I'm sure you know what a big issue Islamophobia is in America. I may be an atheist, but I also recognize that the way Muslims are treated here is really unfair! Instead of getting angry at them, shouldn't we be angry at the system that's holding them back?
