Although I don't live in an Islamic country, living in Australia I am grateful that we live in a peaceful, democratic part of the world where multiculturalism has prevailed better than most countries for many years.

Religion is fiction is the best bumper sticker I have seen in ages. But it comes with a price. And, the price is revulsion and retaliation by on-lookers. But it is a good price to pay because the more people respond to this message, the more accurate the message of the bumper sticker is.

My mother did not understand that what I was being taught in Sunday school was completely different than what she was teaching me. She asked why I didn't tell her, but I was too young and was afraid to tell her that I hated that immoral god.

If it's ok for religious people to advertise their religion with bumper stickers like the fish symbol, for example, then it's perfectly ok for an atheist to state that religions are fiction, regardless of who gets offended.

First of all, I refuse to believe in a heaven/hell or god/devil. That being said, I am affected by those who believe and use it to preach their beliefs. I was abused with these words and those who abused me are dead or out of reach.
