It is a refreshing experience I think. Just this last week I was buying the book "Godless" by Dan Barker and the woman checking me out told me how much she enjoyed reading it. Later I thought, "Wow there are other skeptics like me even in this fundamentalist Christian part of the country!"

I live in Arkansas! Several of my family members here are associated with the Bible Missionary church, which is part of the "holiness" conservative movement.
I heard in some places getting one of the shirts this site sells can lead you to meeting many more nearby skeptics as you are calling them.
