Rise Your Voice Against the Brutality

To day is March 26th the Independence Day of Bangladesh—this is the day that commemorates the founding of a country was based on secular laws with freedom for all. But Instead of the earn we have to spend today begging for justice against the atrocious deeds of religious fanatics, a sad event for us. As teacher, freethinker fellow, I reiterate my condemnation of this attack and urge the Bangladeshi government to speak up and pursue a thorough investigation. Here is a link of Ms. Bonnya Ahmend's (Dr. Avijit Roy's wife) strong voice towards us!

My condolences for your

My condolences for your tragic loss. I can only imagine the grief and madness you must tolerate together.

Barbarians who simply desire to kill other people hide behind some faux religious cause. I think this to be the excuse claimed in all such instances of violence they joyfully engage in. No religion openly and specifically commands a person to violence. That comes from within the person, not the doctrine.

While I would be seeking retribution for a loss such as yours, it would be sought strictly for apprehension of the lawless individuals and not directed at any religion.

I do hope you see these individuals apprehended and brought to justice. Again, my sincerest condolences to you.
