Im watching dawkins debating a cardinal.
Im weird i dont find women or men attractive what i do find attractive is rare still and tends to be only good looking or wealth people have a chance. Im neither.

Watching the full bill nye v ham debate now. Figured i deserved a laugh.
So basically ham argues that evolution a belief because universal CONSTANTS may have been different in the past. He then argues because its a belief it should not be taught. Then argues creationism is not a belief because its based on a witness account erm lost me there what witness account you mean that unverified book you BELIEVE in but billions dont.
He disagrees with all dating methods and the fossil records but thinks his books a fact despite the fact its full of contradictions (by the way he says theres NO contradictions in the bible) and its been proved things were written after the events and inserted pretending they were predictions or live.
Theres no evidence a universal constant can change but to him saying they can is more logical than saying his books wrong.
See the problem is creationists started with what they wanted to be right then twisted facts and made stuff up to support their desire.
Scientists dont do that they want to find out the answer wether it proves them right or wrong they are just as happy. (Mostly).
And that stupid historical science argument pah!!
Interesting...... I understand the dilemma Lmale i have been there myself..... so i get it...... Part of the reason i personally put little stock in Religion or Humanism..... As one is lacking in Rationality and the other in Hope..... Salvation on the other hand is just one beggar showing another beggar where some food is..... doesn't make me superior at all...... but we can talk further if you like..... ;-).
I didnt make myself clear then the thing im losing hope for isnt personal its societal.
I see a religious war to end all wars coming christians v muslims it seems just a matter of time.
Im surprised its taken so long. The world intelligence agencies believe between 10-25% of muslims are fanatically dedicated to overthrowing the west thats potentially more muslims that the whole population of the us.
Its also enough that in key positions they could force the moderate muslims to go to war.
Were just lucky they seem to like terriorism. Odd thing to consider but true.
Not to mention the republicans seem hell bent on making usa into a christian state god help any non christians if they get into power again.
Ohhh the restoration of an Islamic caliphate in Syria and Iraq is definitely an interesting turn of events........ enacting Islamic law that allows for taking of child brides and forces Christians to pay a tax for being Christian much as was done back in the 900 A.D.....
Unless i am reading the current political climate in the US incorrectly it seems as if the republicans are set to recapture the Senate and just as i thought no Repub could ever get presidency after 8 years of G.Bush i also feel that any Dem will have a hard time of keeping Presidency after 8 years of Obama....... If it makes you feel any better though the Repubs are not so different than the Dems on Social Issues....sure the promise the conserv Christians Alot but they never deliver....... Prolly a Big difference might be on economic policy..... And dont forget the non-religous issues we are currently facing in Crimea with Russia....... ;-)....... yeah the societal pressures seem to be off the chart for sure... but we still have to deal with them on a personal level....

That hobby lobby law was passed as a result of republican appointed judges. It showed their goal.
Not only did i give businesses religious rights but declared the businesses rights are more important that all their employees religious and basic human rights.
Within 4 days of the law christian 'charities' appealed to have the law allow them to refuse to hire gay people.
80 companies applied to have the law applied to their businesses aswell. (Last time i saw a news story could be hundreds now).
The rise of atheist churches in usa has made the republicans nervous.
Im not suicidal and i know what i want i was clear i dont want women or men the rest should be obvious even to little miss ego.

One thing I have noticed that bothers me and I seen it coming form multiple posters on the forum is to call someone else on the forum there is distaste for by the opposite sex they are in a derogatory manner, I know this is designed to insult or offend the targeted person but when it's done it is offensive to all people of the target's opposing gender.
We all know sh*t's getting real out there, Lmale.

I dont see anything i can do ive tried exposing theists to proof against their faith they only respond with claims of conspiracy.
Theres no way to convince a theist that does not already have doubts and is active in looking for answers.
The power the churches have bought with the donated money from their slaves makes it damn near impossible to hold them responsible for any of the crimes they have committed and are committing.
Ive heard of only 1 priest charged with pedophilia since the pope admitted over 8000 priests are molesters and the church has been involved in a conspiracy to cover it up for hundreds of years thats a damn confession yet no charges have been made.
To answer you topic's question though Lmale I do see hope for the future.
