Thousands of years ago our ancestors could not explain what caused thunder. So they created gods like Zeus and Thor to explain it. Today scientists can explain what causes thunder completely naturally and anyone who believes it is caused by Zeus would be thought quite mad. To attribute the origin of the universe or life to your particular deity simply because we do not have, or cannot understand, a natural explanation is to commit the same argument from ignorance fallacy today as our ancestors attributing thunder to Zeus and Thor.

Well, thanks Jordan. I am a registered nurse and work in rehab/ long term care/ palliative care. I took more Psychology courses than was required for my degree. I took classes such as "Film as Literature". So, you should now know that I am greatly under qualified to answer the questions that the greatest scientists are still trying to solve. I have no fucking idea. Neither do you.
