The problem with christianity

The problem with christianity is that it is not proved.
The criteria fro proving anything is the "Scientific Method". Which as part of that method you must isolate.
You must also verify through independent means.

Christianity doesn't bother with facts or verification of facts. Instead it offers hearsay evidence, conclusion by associations (a Joseph Geobblls tactic), using known truths that are inane and unrelated to claim the whole of a story is true, justification after the fact (redefining, pseudo-science, revisionist history), and when all else fails it just demands that you have "faith."

PM: Yeah, but, you don't have to get tenure, kiss ass to get published, and you won't get fired because you don't believe evolution. Plus the churches make a hell of a lot more money, they get tax exemption, politically they rule and more people like them.

Even Steven Hawking said the biggest threat to our future is science and technology.

Not religion.

I wasn't talking abut

I wasn't talking abut becoming a published scientist. I was stating a fact about how facts are established.
Don't think Hawking ever said that, gotta source?

My question: how could you

My question: how could you possibly loath science? Is it your religion blinding you to scientific fact, or do you simply not have the capacity to understand it? No offence, but the idea of loathing science is ludacris at best.

Jeff - "They decided to

Jeff - "They decided to settle the problem with the mitochondrial DNA test and find the first woman."

That is a fundamental misunderstanding of science right there! Good old Jeff, strawmanning the sciences, then claiming that since these strawmen are so shitty, the science must be wrong!
