And also, there’s one sad

And also, there’s one sad fact about Indonesia: Their government has recently released a Google app (how the fuck did they approve that?!) that allows citizens to report incidents of “heresy” and “blasphemy”

If im not wrong its not an app but actually a national law about blasphemy on religion there is actually a governor of a province that got jailed for 2 years because of this supposed conduct.

And in the social network people still got to be careful as there is actually a law that disallows you to insult online

Again, I shall say your safety is top priority.

Here are a couple of websites.

The Skeptics Annotated Bible also includes the Qu'ran and the Mormon Bible.

I've been following some of the Islamic crap in Dubai, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran, Brunei. Palestine, and others, where even chewing gum in public during Ramadan can be an arrestable offense.

When I pair this information with the new stuff I learned about the gluttonous behavior of Muslims during Ramadan after the sun goes down I just want to puke.. What a bunch of hypocritical assholes. They will put you in jail for nibbling on a sandwich or popping a stick of gum into your mouth to stave off hunger and then after sundown act like pigs.

This is not a culture of tolerance from my perspective. I think if I were visiting one of these countries I would do all I could to just keep my head down. The stories I hear are scary to me.

Absolute Top Priority with

Absolute Top Priority with all other considerations rescinded: Keep your Self SAFE. Reiteration: We do NOT need martyrs.

Someone else may have said this, if so, then it is a reiteration. For inconsistencies in the Bible, simply read it using critical thinking, logical and deductive reasoning, and rational and analytical thought. That is how me wife and I found them. And as Isaac Asimov once said (paraphrased): "Properly read, the Bible is the greatest tool for atheism."

Here is another one I just

Here is another one I just thought of. One of the Omnis of God is omnipresent. If that is so, then why does it need a tribe of goat herders to spread the good word of it? Why could it not just appear to all the peoples of the world at once?

Religion is a cancer of the

Religion is a cancer of the human mind. In ancient times our thoughts mutated and grasped toward deities for an explanation of the gaps in our understanding. These imaginations became self reinforcing because they were not based on facts, and any non facts could reinforce them. This resulted in the tumor growing and growing until we end up with what we have today.

Reason and logic want to remove the tumor, but it is so invasive that it will cause severe damage to the sufferer.

The greatest controversy of religion is that it is solely based on hearsay (ancient texts, things people say etc.) and not on what God personally tells a person. And my subjective experiences can be attributed to any imaginary thing once I subjectively want to attribute them as proof.

Fallen,

Fallen,

"Religion is a cancer of the human mind."

How do you treat the death of a loved one? Did your parents toss their parents into the trash when they died or did they have some kind of religious services for them? Even if people are not religious they tend to like to have some kind of formal rituals for special occasions.

But it does not have to be

But it does not have to be religious. My father's funeral was NOT religious. It was a military ceremony completely free of any religious connotations. My will already has put into it that no religious ceremony is to be done. Mine also shall be completely atheist and military. It is even in my will that my body is to donated to the "body farm" at Western Appalachia University for use of forensic studies on the decomposition of a body. Even in death, I shall be helping to promote frontiers of science.

Reiteration: Funerals need not be religious. Mine shall not be as put down in my will. Fuck religion. It is a cancer of the mind. Religion is humanity's worst enemy.

I was not allowed to attend

I was not allowed to attend the funeral of my mother because of religion, so you chose the wrong subject to make that point.

Respect and religion are two different things. I wanted to be respectful and attend her funeral, but was judged unworthy by an invisible man.

Quran: Chapter 2 Verse 286:
On no soul doth Allah place a burden greater than it can bear.
Reality: The World Health Organisation (WHO) estimates that each year approximately one million people die from suicide, which represents a global mortality rate of 16 people per 100,000 or one death every 40 seconds. It is predicted that by 2020 the rate of death will increase to one every 20 seconds.
Inference: Why are these one million people committing suicide if they're not having more than enough!

This post is getting old but

This post is getting old but I wanted to ask, "Are you familiar with the Skeptics bible?" There is a Skeptic's Quaran on the site as well and one of the choices you can select is
"Inconsistencies in the Bible or Quaran."

Contradictions in the Quaran:
