Ambien users beware!

Please be advised that new studies have shown that the leading side effect of Ambien is (somehow) racism!

Also, another study has revealed that thoughts and prayers have still made no progress in rebuilding of the damage done to the families of mass shooting victims. Please be advised: invest your time in something more productive.

"What is ambien?"

Zolpidem, sold under the brand name Ambien, among others, is a sedative primarily used for the treatment of trouble sleeping. It is typically only recommended if sleep hygiene is not effective.

this is what google gave me..

OK. Found it.

OK. Found it.

I do not really keep up drugs. My fault only four: Nicotine (very rarely), Caffeine (every morning), Alcohol (Highland Park or Blue Moon or Amber Bock once a month), and Tetrahydrocannabinol (exceptionally rarely). Otherwise, I don't give a damn about any other drugs, except for what need such as Zantac and Aleve and Lyrica.

Some people label sugar as a

Some people label sugar as a drug, it has many of the properties that fit the description of a drug. Although I certainly agree that it is debatable.

Also why not more cannabis? It is the least addictive and likely least harmful to your health out of the drugs you mention. Dont like pot's psychoactive effects?

Currently after moving twice

Currently after moving twice within the last year, don't know people well enough to know about where I find more.

One thing the cannabis definitely helps with is my PTSD and ADHD.

Just know the people around here well enough...

@Secular, racism? As a side effect of a drug? Is this serious (then please, provide a source) or are you on drugs while you are writing? ;)

@Flame. Re: Ambien and racism

Pretty sure Secular dude isn't being serious. I'm willing to bet he is mocking and using satire about some stupid news report that came out recently involving some idiot "famous person" who was blaming the meds on some supposed racist remark he/she made. Or something like that. I may be wrong about the details, but seems like I heard a snippet of something like that recently.

It does have these side

It does have these side affects in common with Absolutists...

delusion (which applies to any religion)
dementia (also applies to any religion)
lack of feeling or emotion (especially for unbelievers with the Christians and Muslims)
confusion (always)
confusion about identity, place, and time (well, they only want to get to heaven...)
discouragement (what they do)
false or unusual sense of well-being (because I believe I am special)
seeing, hearing, or feeling things that are not there (Jesus, angels, etc., etc.)
trembling or shaking of the hands or feet (see this in churches all the time)
attack, assault, or force (they do this verbally all the time)
difficulty having a bowel movement (ain't this like being stuffy)
bad, unusual, or unpleasant (after) taste (well they definitely leave whenever they give a speech)
changes in patterns and rhythms of speech (whenever their lips flap)
frequent urge to defecate (at least from the mouth)

Ambien (zolpidem) is a sedative, also called a hypnotic. - I had to go look it up too. I never read posts before I comment. That way they are just my thoughts. I like to go back and look later to see what others are saying.

As a sedative hypnotic, I would assume it would lead to all sorts of things. Good times, sex with minorities, swinging from trees and even poo fights. I would assume, just me, that anyone expressing racism is doing so because of decreased inhibition and they were racist to begin with.

I wonder if Ambien will now

I wonder if Ambien will now have to list racism as a reported side effect on the leaflet and in the literature?
