Archbishop defends $1m donation to same-sex marriage No campaign

One of Australia's most senior Anglicans has defended his diocese's decision to donate $1 million to the No campaign in the national postal survey on same-sex marriage.

If theists want to set moral

If theists want to set moral standards for themselves, that's fine with me. By becoming members of a church they accept those standards. But religious groups should not have an automatic right to set moral standards for people who don't follow their particular faith. Anyway, I can't accept that same-sex relationships can, in any way, be regarded as a moral issue. If anyone wants to take up an argument with me on that score, I'm more than ready to accept the challenge.
