Adelaide Archbishop Philip Wilson has been convicted and sentenced for covering up child sex abuse by a priest. Has he reflected on the horror that he allowed to continue and resigned himself to penitence? Nope. He's hanging onto his job and appealing the verdict. Apparently he's the victim here, and he's sent a letter to the "people of the Archdiocese of Adelaide" asking them to pray for him.

And that is another reason for the recent spike in the decline of Church membership that the hierarchy will find easy to blame on the "decline in society's values", "Lack of respect for authority" etc etc, fuck them all.
They are doing it to themselves and just cannot figure why......but that is what happens when power has corrupted you absolutely.
This shows that Hollywood has better values than the Catholic Church.

Can anyone here find the contact information for Prosecutor Gareth Harrison? Google doesn't bring him up. Australian public servants are hidden? He can't be too bright. The NYT article quoted him as saying the archbishop had "unflinching loyalty he has to the Catholic Church, and protecting it at all costs" THE CHILDREN ARE THE CATHOLIC CHURCH HE WAS ENTRUSTED TO PROTECT!
The only thing the archbishop is protecting is his extra special ontologically endowed penis! A doctrine proudly and meticulously documented in CANON LAW!
I've got trial material I want to send to the prosecutor, including a copy of my book. He can literally THROW it at the archbishop.

I fear it has all been said so many times, but again you can't avoid being stunned at the lack of any moral integrity, or even sense of shame at their vile behaviour, they are so completely devolved from reality it is hard to grasp. The whole rotten structure is hopefully in it's death throes.
I sent this image to every English speaking bishop that I could find on the planet . When the previous entity in possession of the vatican compared pedophiles to women who want to be priests, I had a new vocation = exorcising the cult of Priapus from the vatican.
