Elsewhere in this thread,

Elsewhere in this thread, prior to your asking this question, I have posted what the Bible isn't: it isn't history, it isn't science, it isn't rational. So what is it: it's is literature. so the set of criteria by which i judge is literary criteria.

Read the thread. I have stated that in many posts. I answered your question beofre you even asked it.

So, not only is theism

So, not only is theism awfully defined, but god(s) is/are poorly defined and the bible (or specific religious text) is poorly definied...

Now let's add that all of the religious world views require the suspension of the laws of nature and all science, but also cannot be tested, proven or falsified.

Not to mention that now, according to you Apollo, your beholden texts are 'Just literature'...

Do you not see why so many people consider the entire concept to be total bollocks?

it's is literature.

First mistake. This should be either "it's literature" or "it is literature."

So the set of criteria by which ⇒⇒i⇐⇐ judge is literary criteria.

Second mistake. I always learned that "I" as a pronoun for "self" should always be uppercase.

So what is it: it's is literature.

Third mistake. The Bible does not even qualify as literature. Its ENTIRE contents are plagiarized.

No you didn't answer my very specific questions. You are fudging the issue to avoid a direct answer.
I asked you to demonstrate the criteria for your interpretation of the Bible, telling us what it isn't,is not explaining how one distinguishes specific passages as metaphor, others as allegory, yet others as fantasy, and finally which are accurate.

I ask you again, please clearly show us the yardstick, criteria or method you use to distinguish each with the examples that I asked.

Another belly laugh. Clearly you "judge it's literary criteria" as not historically accurate, scientifically invalid, and irrational. Why aren't you an atheist is the only question left worth asking.

I never read the bible end to

I never read the bible end to end. As a good southern baptist boy I was steeped in it for 18 years and absorbed it piecemeal. If you can read it, good on ya. The begats in Genesis drag, but the story picks up in Exodus. Numbers, Leviticus and Deuteronomy are a major snooze. Joshua and Judges are a great action tale full of genocide, crimes against humanity and ethnic cleansing. Lots of good old fashioned rape going on too. Fortunately, none of it ever happened. Samuel, Chronicles and Kings get a bit confused and tell the same stories several times. We get into David, your basic Jewish King Arthur. Then there's Daniel, a story about greed and evil, Esther, a story about greed and evil and Ruth (love thy mother-in-law). And Job with god at his wickedest. And all the prophets complaining about Israel being passed around like a Saturday night whore by all the middle east heavy hitters. Same old song, Israel is wicked so god lets them get their butts kicked. The NT has 4 different versions of Jesus with very diverse characteristics. Mostly made up Acts. The epistles are all basically christian apologetics 101. And it finishes off within the wildest acid trip ever. I'd like to know where he gets his mushrooms. That's the bible in a nutshell. Now you know.
