Um,,,, September 8, 1935, Charles H. Garrett demonstrated a water-fuelled car. The car generated hydrogen by electrolysis as can be seen by examining Garrett's patent, issued that same year.

IT IS NOT A PERPETUAL MOTION MACHINE,. It runs on water. No water, no motion.

Nothing was suppressed. We have had the technology for hundreds of years.

In principle: separating a

In principle: separating a water molecule into hydrogen and oxygen, takes the same amount of energy that is released in the combustion of hydrogen. Which leaves nothing to power the car (leaving nothing to make the car move).

In the real world: some of the energy released from the combustion of the hydrogen will be wasted (typically as heat). So you will get less work out of the system than you put in. And that is without even moving the car.

This system can't power the car (move it), and will just sit there and waste energy (typically as heat) until it has wasted it all.

Meyer's patents expired long ago, his ideas are public record that anyone can use for free.

I suggest it isn't being used, because it doesn't work. Presumably you think it works; so I think you'll need a new conspiracy theory to explain why it isn't being used today.

You are trolling for responses right?

Because the alternative..
That you actually believe what you write... Yikes.
You have basic reading and writing skills, you have access to the internet... For you to have both of those, but believe this sort of stuff, it adds up better if you are trolling for responses, instead of actually possessing these tools only to tell others here that you know some great "conspiracy" that makes no sense.

Even if you truly think their is some grand conspiracy at play here, I can think of a few much more plausible sounding conspiracy theories that explore this avenue off the top of my head that are substantially better.

Here is an easy one for ya, first one that came to my head:
The fossil fuel industry lead by oil giant exxon mobil has ruthlessly suppressed any competing technologies that would replace transportation's heavy reliance on fossil fuels. And created a vast marketing and misinformation campaign to stop these better technologies from being adopted.

While the above is a conspiracy theory I just made up (have heard others make this claim) it still way better than what you presented in the realm of plausibility. We all know exxon mobil is a giant very profitable fossil fuel/chem/exploration/extraction/shipping company.

Sorry to tell you, but that scam has been around for at least 50 years of which I know.

Here it turns up every few years on the TV equivalent of The National Enquirer.

I strongly recommend you have a look at the linked article from 'Popular Mechanics", a reputable publication. (read the whole article) :

"-----------Problem: It takes exactly the same amount of energy to pry those hydrogen and oxygen atoms apart inside the electrolysis cell as you get back when they recombine inside the fuel cell. The laws of thermodynamics haven't changed, in spite of any hype you read on some blog or news aggregator. Subtract the losses to heat in the engine and alternator and electrolysis cell, and you're losing energy, not gaining it--period. "

LogicFTW's picture
Most people have simply

Most people have simply ignored his invention. I would say 99.99% of all people have.

Just there is a few crackpots, or writers with an agenda that like to resurrect this myth from time to time.

The fuel cell is a rather simple and easy to understand design. The popular Lithium Ion batteries are far more complex.

The core problem with fuel cells is that they are bulky, and they have higher than acceptable amounts of explosive possibility. (Can not be used in cars or devices that can be dropped, or able to go on planes, public areas etc.) Combined with the fact the fuel cell battery is not appreciably different in over all battery efficiency compared to other battery techs, leaves this invention in the dust bin, at least until they can figure out ways to overcome its current crippling short comings. They have been working on these shortcomings with some progress over the past few decades. But have not crossed into the feasible/replacement technology yet.

If there was room for a conspiracy anywhere in this, I could see current fossil fuel/battery industries attempting to buy up patents on this stuff for solving some of fuel cell drawbacks, but putting them on the back burner until they themselves could profit off the patent. And to protect their quarterly profit growth.

@Sir Random Re: "Next thing we know, you'll tell us clouds are sheep that learned to fly!"

I hear ya, bud. Definitely sounds like some ridiculous nonsense he would say, right? And, sadly, he might even believe it... *chuckle*... I guess school systems just don't teach about weather in natural science anymore. After all, it's just common knowledge that clouds are formed by all the dryer lint people throw away. And it gets sucked way up into the atmosphere by thermal winds where it all clumps together over time, until it floats across an area where it is raining. Then the rain washes all the lint back down to earth, where it eventually dries out and gets sucked back up into the sky to repeat the cycle all over again. Science is FUN!... *grin*... Flying sheep, though? That's hilarious. How stupid can a person be to believe THAT?... lol...

I wish I had a car that runs on water, but that's just not realistic. If you are planning to buy a car and are thinking about choosing a brand, I can advise you japanese car sales https://www.bestpeoplemovers.com.au/. On the site you can find a large catalog of used Japanese cars of different brands and you can make a purchase with delivery, which is very convenient. You can contact a service consultant to learn more about buying a car.
