I had left RELIGION blank, until I discovered that an old extensive post I had made to this site was the only FaceBook post that was still public on my Facebook page, and was viewable by anyone. I decided to make that post no longer viewable. My thinking was that I did not want the first thing that people could find out about me to be what I was opposed to. I then put "Secular Humanist" as my "religion", because that says something about what I value - both secularism & humanism (in contrast with nihilism).
