The world's sensibilities are shifting. I've been wondering if the rate of shift will increase.
I guess people found more interesting things to do, like watching grass grow or paint dry.
It sounds like reading a bible is supposed to produce some magical force, just as swearing on one forces a witness to tell the truth. I thought Xtians were supposed to be against witchcraft, but they do love their book of spells.
They were probably going to read the short version anyway.
