Longtime Atheist but having a hard time. Please help.

I've been an atheist since I'm 15 and I STILL am. That will NEVER change. But I am just in so much pain that I can't think my way out of a paper bag. Everyone I love is dead. And I need some help. From ATHEISTS! If one more asshole tells me that god is going to fix my shit I'm gonna LOSE my shit. Christ!!! (Ironically)

Being an atheist has little

Being an atheist has little to do with it. If you have lost your loved ones and your social network, it's easy to sympathize with your dispair.

If I was in your situation, I would go and help other who need help. I'm quite sure that you would find people to care about, and people who would care about you. There are probably people not far away that could use help.
Or find something you care about, something you feel deserves to be fought for.

Speaking for myself, I have often thought that if I end up in the situation you are describing, I would pack my bags and travel somewhere in the world and just try to make a difference. Dig a waterditch in Africa, help build camps for Syrian refugees, educate, stand up for the rights of others, anything really.
