Agreed :) Some days it feels like I can't keep my eyes on straight, but then by the time I check the thread again someone else has said everything I would have.
I'm counting on you to cover me next time I'm too lazy to respond, lol.
Nice to read lots of views here. :)
I find those links very interesting and inspiring for believers. We can find many reasons if we like to believe in as well as if we do not want to believe.
This thread have gone long but still I'm quite fascinated on the philosophy of Thomas Aquinas disregarding his religious affiliation. Darwin theory is something great too but that does not conclude the non-existent of supreme being.
Lots of interesting views on this thread. :)
There are really some good articles to read about some proofs of God's existence but I think the best proof one could have is within himself or what is commonly known as miracle. :)
Every major organized religion cites accounts of miracles to support their claims of a god existing, etc., like Christianity does with the Bible.
For one of my Humanities courses, we examined an essay called "On Miracles" by David Hume, in which he uses a line of reasoning to define miracles, examine them, and explain why they can never truly be proven. Although he was Christian and therefore claimed that this is exactly why faith is so important, it brings up many good points.
I suggest it as a good read to those who regularly pick through dense texts for fun :)
I agree that it is an interesting read especially for believers. Non-believers will just find these kind of articles as imaginations or way of entertaining readers.

B. I disagree with your idea of perfection as proof to a God. This is because there is no perfection in this world. The only perfect, consistent thing or idea is imperfection.

"Biblical christianity has a better track record then evolution does."
A better track record at what? Explaining in detail the diversity and patterns of similarity in all species, living and extinct?
This has been a long thread and I think it will be endless until the real proof existed.
Anyway, if Jesus existed then it's good if he did not then I think it will not change the world we are living today. Humans will still make another god-like individual whom they can put their faiths and religions on. Somehow, I hope Jesus existed and continued to exist so that there are no questions and debates about god. And I also hope that the teachings of the church is real so that we can expect good-life after death.
