Perhaps peripheral. I'd be interested in opinions about the various child 'opera singers' around , such as Jackie Evancho and Amira Willighagen. (I find it hard to believe Amira is self taught.)

They sounded incredible to me, until I compared Amira's version Of 'Oh Mio Babino Caro' with Montseratt Caballe's version. Still pretty good though imo. But I'm no opera expert, I just like beautiful voices , no matter what the genre.

I can't help but wonder if singing that way so young will damage the girl's voices ?
